lilnebo: Thanks
DTP: This is a good thread on edges http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=51913 also, hard edge on soft edge looks very satisfying to the eye. I tend to use the lasso tool a lot to get some nice edge variation, but it can tend to look like too much of a hard edge sometimes. Thanks
Krato: Thanks man
Parsakoira: haha i didn't D:
Cameli: Thanks
teh.meh: Thanks
zou: thanks man
Forrest_I: Thanks
jordyskateboardy: Haha yeah thats been bugging me a lot lately, trying to find the right divide between line quality and construction, I'll work on it for sure! Cheers man
Benjie: Haha thankyou, I'm glad i got you off your butt to do some work
Yor: Thankyou
Krato: Yeah I really should, I'm too lazyI'll put more time into these. And I'm using an a4 200 gsm sketchbook. I do have a moleskine, I like them when I get into using them, but I always feel the papers too smooth to render on for my liking. Hope that helps?
Thanks
Hive_minD: Thanks man
Ephelea: Haha a criticism would be niceThanks
Jesus Food: I won't, cheers
fionkell: Thanks
So I got Demon's Souls, and thats eating a lot of timebut it's all very visually inspiring..so that counts as an excuse

Hello
I think that one thing you could study more is a more analytical approach to figure drawing. Kevin Chen and Bammes. I think that it would help you with drawing the form and understand how body parts fit with each other.
Keep it up.
Really sweet pencils dude! I'm going to stop viewing your sb late at night I think, ill destroy my brain, being scared into staying up later.
Keep being intense man!
Great stuff ,I like your pencil works, very nice ,keep the nice work up man.
the line quality in your pencil work is looking pretty good. I like the hands especially . The tones in the very latest digital painting work well too, though I'd recomend keeping the tones in the shadow a little closer together and be very careful with putting in black marks.
some nice palettes in your digitals man! liking the continuous line stuff too. it will defiantly improving your lines doing that kinda stuff.keep grinding man!!
Cool stuff! Your sketches are really looking fine as cherry whine! If that is the correct term.
you mean d@niel right? http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...8&d=1276774720
no krato, he means bumskee http://minart.net/datas/works/heavy_gunner_4.jpg
nice update bro, the bumskee one doesnt look so laid back as it does in mins, he shows the attitude of the pose and everything, like your knight(?) wouldn't be in some ally way would he? he mgiht be idk, it just dun fit, i see your trying to the lighting though and you did well! keep it up! and moaar stodehhzz!
Hey sam, the hard work=paying off. I like the bumskee-tribute and your pencils are looking quite nice.
Shit man, those pages are killer!! really nice work. I'll have to look through this book of awesomeness, progress from first to last is huuuuuge!
keep it up!!
Kicking ass as always I see.
Demon's Souls painting could use some more texture, looks too soft especially the neck area.
xinranliu: I'm on itthanks
Benjie: hehework work work

monsi: Yurr that piece sorta sucks, I rushed it too muchThanks
no87: Thanks

r y a n o i r: Yeah I only really referenced the light, as for the storytelling absolutely no thought was put inI should starting using my brain more! Cheers brah
Eddieee: Thanks man
DefiledVision: Hopefully much more to comeThanks

awesome studies man, if you are going for a more panoramic composition maybe expand the canvas horizontally a little more? If you did it to the left a bit it would give the figure a little more room to breathe. Keep it up, as you said, TIME TO DRAAAAAAAAAAWWWWW!
Awesome new updates! Everything looks brilliant!!
You have come a far way, considering your first pages.
Good luck onwards.
On the last WIP, I find some things a bit confusing/inconsistent. Why is her arm covered in some black stuff? Where is she? Why is she topless? What's the story there?
Other things that bother me: the mid and foreground don't fit in with the background. Different lighting situations and palette make for a jarring effect. Also, her rib cage is too small for her head and arms/shoulders. I would add a bit to it on her back near the black arm. The composition can use a bit of reworking. I would show more of the tree and figure out a proper focal point. The city grabs too much attention.
