    Khan's stuff

    Dear friends,

A year ago, wonderful Daniel Dociu from Arenanet brought me to NCsoft Europe and changed my entire life to better. I spent a wonderful year, surrounded by great people and friends and learned a lot about making video games. Unfortunately, our studio got closed and we had to leave NCsoft.
Thanks to CA, I didn't even have to look after a new job: someone read the information about the studio in my sketchbook thread and offered me the new position at Rocksteady Studios in London.
    How cool is that?
    Thanks CA

I have been given the permission to post the work I did during the course of the last year. There is bazillion things I would do differently now but mistakes are also a part of the process.

So, I will start with the mosty recent stuff. A fantasy MMORPG project:

this piece is inspired by fantastic CRYPTCRAWLER:

I also worked on a RTS:

Our Art Director, Simon Britnell, has a fantastic FPS project and is one of the nicest guys on the planet. He is a boss everyone would wish to have. Here are some of the concepts I did for him:

Next, it's an online collectible card game:

When I first arrived at NCsoft Europe, I worked on a medical MMO:

I also did promotional marketing illustrations, which some of you have might already seen in the "Edge" magazine, my sketchbook and Gorilla Artfare Blog:

I guess, that's it. I really, really hope you like it, cause I'm shit scared what you guys are gonna say now

    Thanks for watching,
    Khan

holy crap dude, that's alot of stuff! I think the very first one may be my favorite from the whole batch. Something about it to me has a very classic universal fantasy feel to it.

A great dump Khan. Like Dave I really like the first image also. it just has a sense of story and presence. That FPS shooter looks stunning. The atmosphere you put into the paintings makes me want to play it.

Congratulations on the new work gig. That's great news.

No surprise a studio snatched you up immediately, Khan. Best part is, I feel you are still making tons of progress and always getting better. Good luck with the new job, and I'll catch up with you later

Beautiful stuff man, and such diversity!! My favorite is probably armada, but the head surgeon is a close second. 'Birthday' is especially awesome as well. Great stuff, keep it up.

So. Much. Stuff! Khan, this was a great drop here. Your work is fantastic. I agree with Dave, the first piece (and also the 2nd) are my favorites. And the one with the group walking through the gothic hallway with the torchlight leading, that one is so rad. Thanks for sharing!
