Some sketches that I painted last time... I have to say that my friend is now working on fantasy book but don't talk about it so much, just tell about some characters, so these are from the book: 1. the Daemon from inferno ( ),
2. the Dark elf ( or some sort of elf) 3. Trailblazer - he is silent, with his four eyes he spy very nice, he is very fast and have a some sort of membrane along sides of his body to fly some distance when he fall from the high...
So, I draw this for fun, but yet not have time to paint it digitally.

WOW your stuff is really really cool too! I love your sketches and your strange creatures and characters. You're very good with the light and shadow. Nice. Only critique would be your colours are a little muddy but that is coming from someone who likes bright and saturated! Teehee!

Really great drawings and keep it up. Can't wait to see more. Those enviros show a lot of promsie too!

Hello boys and girls... a new year begins and it begins cool (I think)! A lot of ideas means a lot of work... All I want to say:

So, to work...

This year I decide to find out what Painter XI is... and I started my first painting in this year with my pencil skecth and Painter... Actually I use both, Painter and Photoshop, but in Photoshop I just add some FX and make color correction, and paint background...
So its my really first try of Painter, I'm learning (hard) and try to get some progress (as anyone here, I think) so If you want to say - please say it!
I'll post some close-ups too... And want to say that I feel good about exploring Painter, and want to give advise to people who never touch it soft - TRY IT, you won't be sorry!

Hey NewmanD, thanks for the comment in my SB. You have some cool character designs emerging in your sketchbook, keep them up. It would be cool to see some studies from life too- they really are the key to bringing your imaginary creations to life. Really enjoying the sheriff image too, you have some nice things happening with the color.

Original pencil drawing doesn't contain Player N13, but I think if put him into painting that will be cool...

Aha your back and some nice characters you brought with you too! The sherriff and the footballer look badass and i like the enviro too although i think the foreground coulda done with a bit more sharpening but hey i have never even tried an enviro so just ignore me keep on trucking!

Almost 6 month I'm analyzing this concept, and still I thinking about every detail and character... Now I have just one character, just want to see light and shadow and don't want to do shading on real drawing... anyway... here it is... I don't want to talk about this painting right now, because maybe I will change the concept...
