    NewmanD sketchbook

Hi my name is Eugene, and I love ART at all because art give you a real freedom of mind. I'm studying myself in 2d and 3d now just about a year and try to get all it can give...
So, in this sketchbook I will post drawings that have some form or meaning, I don't want to bother you by posting drawings of practice (figure, heads, hands, etc...) I learn to pencil drawing, digital drawing, and all stuff of 3d art (modeling, animation, motiongraphics, VFX), it all needs a lot of time, I know...

So, if you have something to say or give advise, you are welcome...
But don't forget I'm still learning, and I will...

new stuff in the end of thread...

There's another one, just an hour in photoshop...just a quick sketch, but I think it will be a full concept.

hey! nice works. especially love that u dont leave the backgrounds empty. but make sure its not takin up all the attention. especially in the last one i think u spend more time on the surroundings than the character.

also, try to draw some non-alien stuff. drawin aliens and creatures is not such a great learnin concept. first concentrate more on anatomy study n such. then it helps in designin more aliens n all..

anyways. all the best. keep up the practise

Hi guys, this one I call - Albion, nothing too complicated, male torso and horns...

There are two versions: "Black" & "White"...May be you tell me which is better?...

New born is fantastic, I really like the texture (is that a texture?) used on the arm of the armour, nice bright colours. did you colour right over the sketch or..colour then add in lines?

2 carnal: Thank you MAN will work...

2 Pkinsora: First of all - ThankS... (and than) I draw the concept by my hand, and my blue ball pen... 8) ... than I scan the image...and paint colour over it... but first of all I Colorize the scanned image and just then paint.
....And on the arm theres no texture - it is done by ball pen and hand... 8)

... And one else thing - your art is really, REALLY COOL...

Thank you all...Good luck and inspiration...!!!

Your latest post (#27) shows improvement already; it looks much less flat than your previous pieces. Keep up the good work.

Here is my FIRST TRY in Robots painting, and you know, its cool!!! I tried to combine metal and flesh... So, now this is a little sketchy, but I want to do someday a clean render of it, so wish good luck to me!

    (Thanks!)
