Today I got my copy of ImagineFX. And finally I have been featured And couldnt help myself from scanning the image haha. I know im not the artist of the month. But getting 1 page in ImagineFX, knowing thousands of people are going to see it, not to mention famous people and companies, I am happy that I have this as an achievement

Man, really heavy stuff here! Those characters back there are totally kickass.. somehow I get a whole organized crime-syndicate feeling from them (yakuza anyone? ) Smoker guy is really solid.

Man you have some kickass characters here. Esp. like the man with the leather jacket and all the folds - beautiful! Keep it up!

Some changes:

focused more on the Chaos Lord and blurred out the Dragon.
Added some sparks stuff whateverr ahghg

For these sketches I've done, I'm listening to The Demon God tracks on Princess Mononoke OST. It really helps bring out the superiority in the Lords im creating.
Can imagine a scene where he walks to battle with his underlings and dragons. Creates a great hell-ish atmosphere in my head.
Thats the starting point
But the design comes freely I guess, being inspired from past animes, movies, games I've seen and it automatically transfers to my drawing.
I wanted him to look very intelligent and very superior to his kind. So I made him look quite religious, like a demon-pope or something By adding all the demonic crosses, the long cape and other cloth, the badges, the head-piece, which could be like a crown of some sort with precious gemstones on them or diamonds, and mainly the cross-rope in his hand. Maybe could look like beads that priests have. I didnt want him to show any weapons since hes THE leader and will be commanding more than fighting. But who knows, he might have some powerful weapons hidden underneath all his attire

Wow I havent updated my SB in a looong time!!! well long time for me..
Anyway, I've been working on a game me and XaKu are making using the Unreal Development Kit. I'll be putting up all the concepts here! but if you'd like to view the blog then the link follows:
