great work man!
I like your application of the pigments...don't know exactly what type they are though!
Hey thanks Kai! I was gonna add a little description, you reminded me, the studies and animal drawings are mixed media: Graphite (4b, 2b, 4h), Prismacolors, and Micron pens.
The Last structure concept was made using shape tools, freehand on my wacom, and custom brushes of my own, with a very very little bit of texture pics.

hey man keep working on your stuff. i enjoyed the last stuff you put up. let me see some anatomy work from ya
* looks at your shit *
Don't be sad, it's a slow time with holidays and stuff.
Dragon thing is cool, with those fire-like effects. Looks like it's toppling over though.
The bomblur knight is hard to read, mostly a compact dark mass. If you don't know it has arm-like thingies you'll likely miss them.
The multicolor sketches are nice!
Overall I suggest to try out less saturated colors.
My sketchbook contains cartoon studies and Pokémon.
Jasper Flick: Thanks, yeah thats why i ended up hating the flame guy, his pose is way off. I'm not sad tho, just dissapointed...! hope your xmas was great =)

So I downloaded Al.chemy, what a fun program! I love the shapes it spits out, anyway i created a few creature designs with it and photoshop. Here is the sheet + larger framed of indiviudal creatures.
And also a update of that building (still WIP, almost done)
Thanks for looking![]()

great progress!
don't give up, not because i tell you not to, but, because you've got something going worth keeping alive.
nice work out here, you're improving very quickly men, alchemy is a cool thing isn't it![]()
Excellent progress. I saw a few things that I thought could be better, so I did a few quick paint overs.
If you were wondering about grayscale to color in photo shop they went over that in the thread Kian teaches danny learns(mentoring)... putting the color on a Overlay layer.
I have a few links in my sig that have some tutorials I have found especially helpful.
hope this helps.
Good luck, and may you paintings be colorful ones.

Your study to me was very instructive!
Thanks for comments guys.
surfandsnow:
Even though those ones you painted over are not that old, they seem like ages ago to me, but i can clearly see what you have done about the foreshortening one, and found that helpful. So to find mistakes for those is something i have done personally, and don't care to correct, only move forward with the knowledge gained for future pieces. I thank you for your input. =)
Here is some newer stuff, i've been lazy to upload. Been messing with grey-scale markers, more studies, and some thumbs and a final lineart for a oriental dragon.
