Sorry, that previous comment was for a different sketchbook, my bad.

You've used colour very well in these last paintings. I particularly love this environment and your use of watercolour is great too. I think its generally suited better for scenes because its got a more raw quality, and sometimes working digitally gets a bit stale. The fact that you manage to pull it off so well in both mediums is fantastic.

    muchos saludos

    Eh Ricardo,

Nice work!!! The watercolors are great, I see you spend a lot more time on your watercolor than I do it give great results! I dont know which famous painter was bragging about being able to teach a whole class about watercolor without even looking at their work. He was just entering and shout "DARKER"! lol. Thanks for looking at my stuff. Ill come back

Hey there, great sketchbook; you have some beautiful work in here I really like the feet in post #222.

For a crit, I have a difficult time seeing some of the details in your colored works. I think that if you went in with a complimentary color to boost some of the darkest lines that separate overlapping forms (particularly in your armor designs), that could help make the overall design easier to understand. For an example, in the image in post #224, I would go in with a very dark green (possibly on a multiply layer) and boost some of the linework that's describing the forms of the armor in the arms (particularly his right, our left, arm to make it more immediately obvious that the arm and the gun and a continuous form).

    Keep up the good work!
