In this last one look at the Gun gand arm. Its a bit to short. also her neck sits a bit skewed. Keep doing great bro.

B-Man thank you for watch mate. Yeah probably you´re right about the neck, i revised it... some little issues that always make my characters look a bit stiff, definitely i should work more on anatomy.

Este Ying-Yang es increíble, Ricardo, muy bueno. How do you work? I see you first create an undertone...and then? Do you just "colour" it (with PS selections and sliders) or do you repaint it all over?

    Thank you people!
tayete gracias, un placer tenerte por aquí. Suelo trabajar de formas diferentes, según tengo el día In this case I applied a color layer over the greyscale, at first. later i worked in normal layer, with different brush modes till I covered all the linework. little color corrections and enhancement and i´m done Normally I work directly in color, but making greyscale first is more entertaining sometimes. Thanks for stop by, i love your watercolor work.
SnoobyOo thanks dude, glad you like it.

Hey thanks for stopping by my sketchbook! i like what u got goin on here. I especially like that progress shot u posted, makes me think maybe i should do the same for some of my stuff.

Its amazing looking through your sketchbook, everything, especially your characters are just getting better and better. I dont really have a crit, i mean i could im sure if i really tried, but I've gotta ask though, on that recent character, how did u get that watercolor effect in the upper right? just scan in a bit of watercolor or do u have some other tricks? it's a really nice touch. Keep at it!
    Cheers'

    Hello peeps
Artzealot thank you very much, that effect is a scanned watercolor, that watercolor wasn´t done with that purpose, i scanned it long time ago and now just took a little part.
    dleoblack thank you!
Parsakoira glad you like it, thanks!

    Today it´s about dragons
this draconian dragonlord is a review (a paintover) of an almost 2 years work, here it is.

and new step by step illo, not really happy with it, though.

Oh man I love a lot of your stuff! I especially like the one with the old guy at the junkyard, great color in that one.

It's people like you who make this forum a happier place. At least in my opinion, these posts made me inspired!

I'd like to give you a more meaningful comment than a big asspat but I don't really know what to say.. I guess that some of the poses are a bit uninteresting, like the one with the ballerina girl. She looks a bit like she's drunk, not really coordinating her body. You can see this in the concept pieces with the 3 men. There's almost no movement in the body. By just turning the torso a bit would do a lot to the characters, so there's different directions going on in the pose. Else they turn out to look like they don't have a movable spine, or like they need to take a shit

Bah, that's all I've got to say, sorry for not being too helpful. I tried.

Keep working hard, you're making awesome work and your work really inspired me.

Very nice renders man, I think establishing more tonal patterns like this one!throughout the piece to really draw the eye around helps full illo's out a lot. Keep it up dude, you're doing great work.
