    Hola Ricardo

    Hey guys!
soon i will be on your SB´s, now time for me to get some holidays!!
fantasyartist thank you, i´m glad to know you see improvement!
maria riaz thank you very much.
    stezsen thanks!!
Metal Fingers thank you very much dude!! the hippo has a layer of filler/mastic before painting. That blue thing that you see is colored wood glue.
    Benjy thanks!!

watercolor +indian ink, and some ink stains... Jon Snow of the Night Watch!!

(Quién dijo "Monsters are my friends"?)

Hey guys thanks for the great encouragement, i love all you.
    SnoobyOo hehe thanks dude!
LordLouis thanks, watercolors are very relaxing exercises to me, i´m glad you like it. Anatomy, yes I have to work more on it
GEB thanks for stop by, you painting machine!
Zou thank you very much for the faith, i have to work tons to achieve better results.
prsnsweeney thanks again for the support mate, glad you like my work.
    surus thanks dude!
The Flying Dutchman, yeah probably you are talking about some linear stains and dry brushstrokes. I didn´t stop to think about it, but maybe you are true and these are digital painting infludences thank you very much!
Kungfoowiz thanx for stop by, dude, here we gooooo
Kingkostas thanks and great to know you are into traditional sculpting. Did you get my message detailing the process? anything you need, just let me know.
Lyno glad you like it, thanx!
Velocity Kendall haha thanks for the input! Now i am looking it, and the waist area seemed to have a strange cut in the belt, so that adding you drew could be a good solution to give continuity to the skin. Thanks dude!

    space pirates hell yeah!

oh damn i haven't been in your thread since...2009 i think. sheesh! a quick subscription will correct that hehe.

Love what you've been up to these years, just been through the whole thing again. I like your consistency with characters and the fact that the elements keep a unitary visual style to them. in other words, things work well together and that makes it even more appealing.

i like the loose style in the sketches, feels like you're having fun and i'm growing more and more aware of how important fun is when drawing also, good job on varying themes and approaches, i think working with the least expected shapes and colors teaches you the most. whenever i see purple, bright green and pink in an artist's work, i think to myself "this guy is on the right track" since there's no tabu's in art.

all in all, love the stuff and i will definitely be dropping in more often! hope i didn't rant too much
    cheers!

Really nice demon creature. I like the balance of high dynamism at the top versus the relatively sparse lower region.

Those last two are really cool but the head angle on the upper one seems off and the character riding the beetle needs a slight push to differentiate them a tiny bit more from their mount. They sort of blend when read at a glance.
