Thought i'd start a new book. I feel like a new chapter of life is begining, and so, a new book feels nice. besides, i barely updated the other one....

anyway. Some silent hill work (its all in the strategy guide/art book), and my own personal project, Dark Rose:

Dark rose is a concept ive been working on for a little over a year in spare time... Hope to do a graphic novel with it soon.

Great atmosphere on the Silent Hill stuff. I was going to ask if they were for a horror game until I went back and read the post.

That cat-man on the Dark Rose project horrifies me. In a good way.

Seriously, though, you've got a nice set of designs there; however, without seeing them in a lineup, I'm not sure how well they'd all mesh together in the same setting. I'm guessing you're doing something with a fairy tale vein based on the title and the designs, so it'll be very interesting to see where you take these characters in the end.

Great stuff! Definitely a sketchbook to watch.

Wow, I love animals, and the ostrich and elephant piece is amazin, I love it so much, I just hate being a begginner because I know I wont be accomplishing anything like that in the near future, unless I try real hard, which I really am. Being a traditional painter and trying to cross over to digital painting is really weird but thanks for the awesome artwork, great stuff, MORE !lol

whoamygod the detail in those room pics. they all so very good lol.

that little character with the helmet reminds me of the 'yuke' character off FFCC (final fantasy crystal chronicles). hes only missing the wings here lol, but oh well.

Im learning to draw because I tell myself Id like to be able to block in environments and lighting before taking it into 3D to model. Never really sure of what I should be aspiring to or exactly what I meant.

The environments in your first post have really shown what I should be aiming for (maybe quailty wise in a few thousand years hehe).
