I wonder if you could elaborate on your critique about drawing volumes? Maybe point to a specific example would be really helpful, thanks.

Big improvement since the start. Good work on doing continued still life and other studies.
Your colour and tones are definitely improving the most, but I think you may be neglecting drawing a bit.
A good drawing is the foundation for a good painting.
For example, the last woman character piece. I would spend longer on the line drawing and make sure all the fundamentals are established, that perspective is working, the anatomy is correct, etc.

Well, it's been about a year that i didn't post anything lol, and now i'm back to daily updates because i need some kick in the asses and i see more and more growing artists it makes me want to update again ! i'm here to really get good critics to get better, so please, post only if you have something useful to say ok ! thanks guys ! here are some stuff i did ( studies are from today, stuff from mind a bit older, but have to finish them !! )

nice sketches and studies! I really like this last one, the perspective makes her look impressive. In the landscape study, your colors seem a bit washed out, I think it would improve with more contrast. but maybe your reference was like that.

lagarto : thanks dude, you're right ! my goal is not to paint exactly the ref, but to improve it, change a bit the composition, contrast, colors, etc, to create a great mood, if you have something to say, i didn't succeed ^^ will take what you're saying in consideration and i'll do better next time !

hey guys, i haven't much to update, wasn't able to draw a lot last week, because as i'm muslim, i'm actually fasting, and it's quite hard to stay focused ! another thing is that in october, i'm gonna move to Sydney for a year, with my girlfriend, just taking a whole year enjoying life, visiting Australia, we're also gonna visit some Asian countries, etc, so we have to deal with a lot of administrative stuff, which is pretty tiring ...

AAAAnyway, here is an update, some daily selfportraits( the one from today suck, i'll do better tomorow ^^, faces again, and the previous character that i improved + a new character sketch ( values organisation on this character is sucking ^^ )
