Well, here are a life painting and a color study of a boxer, as well as thumbnails for an illustration about zombies i'm working on ! which thumbnail do you prefer ? ( or tell me if they all suck .. )

i think i would go with the first thumb nail, has good composure i can see it painted the others not so much, i think the last one is alright just you only want to paint the good one ha ha.

Well, thanks guys for your help, but i think i will put aside the zombie illo for a while, because seriously, this illustration would involve a lot of details, a crazy color harmony, etc, and i can see it so clearly on my mind, but i know i won't be able to put it down on my canvas as well as in my mind. I think my awareness of this world has improved, and i'm just aware of all these beautiful colors around me, and i really wanna be able to paint this beauty, so i'm gonna train hard, and will try to do some sketches in color on photoshop ^^ next update will be full of colors ^^

Fuck yes man thats the shit, so much improvement since the last time I saw you, I'am enjoying those character designs, however the poses seem a little awkward and forced, try looking at the mirror and see how your body forms those poses, I think its time we actually started up again being intense. Second year of UNI is pretty intense but I'm still keen not to have any sleep for the next 2 years, or the rest of my life i guess. Speak soon on msn.

thanks all for your support, i'll try to reply later individually ! It's been about a month that i didn't post, was running out of time between school, friends, etc, but i was missing posting some stuff, so here i am !
Here are some stuff done at school, the baby's cast we've done for the second time, on grey paper with black and white pencils ! A still life done with pastel, and a sketch done for the illustration class, from an old russian story, about an ogress willing to eat a little boy, we had to choose which scene we would illustrate ^^ Then, some personnal stuff, a post apo girl, the sketch of a fantasy character, i'll try to put some values and colors on this sketch when i'll have time, and the WIP of an illustration i started about a month ago, but didn't have time to work on ^^

As usual, crits and comments are welcome, and thanks for visiting my sketchbook !

Well guys, art school is taking me a lot of time ^^ I don't like to post only one picture, but i feel i need some help on this one . I worked again on the fantasy girl, but turned her to be like the guardian of the forest, i wanted to give her a wild look, mixing the design with some african tribes' stuff ! Right now i'm kinda stucked on the values and on the composition of my picture. I didn't worked on the background, but it doesn't matter ^^ I really find m values flat, everything is looking like plastic ( it's like she has garbages bags around the boobs .... ) anyway, any advice is appreciated !

If she's not wearing a bra and is on the larger side, that's what boobs tend to look like. Only porn stars with boob jobs look perky all the time.

Well, like i'm sucking at values, i made several values studies, and the last body is from imagination It took me about 2 hours for each study, exept the first girl that i spent 5 hours on her ^^

Well, i don't like to make several posts in a row, but i forgot to upload this stuff ! It's a new version of the previous character that i was finding too simple ! i added a lot of stuff, trying to find a good mix between african and asian styles ! And some basic values putted on it ! ! I made these values before the values studies posted above, so it can only become better ^^

Hey man, so I promised you a crit, I guess i'll take your latest stuff, heh, nice start you got the shape
down pretty well and your values look good...however
theres something about the navel, I think its misplaced slightly to the right, it causes a
disconnect between top and bottom half of her body.

Hey man so I put a crit with in a crit, so you can... anyway nice studies in #625, god I love boobies um...
The top girl her stomach seem to get compleetly flat somehow around the navel again.
