    Talking finally...

...after one year without a domicile, without work, without a plan - things take form. I've got a job and soon I will get my own flat and finally a new PC and a big desk to work on...

    Some Stuff:
    - Some pinup girls from photo references (gettyimages.com) (Graphite, A3)
    - Fredrik Thordendal, also with photo reference (Charcoal, A2)
    - skull beast warmup doodle thing (Charcoal, A2)

I'll try to do some more exercises in greyscale shading bodies...

    Lots'O'stuff

Lots of perspective construction exercises. Done in train. Drawing in trains is better than drawing in cars... All in a A5 sketchbook. With mechanical pencil (and some with graphite).

(In the third image upper right corner is a perfect circle )

Another bunch of exercises. I'm focusing on construction of curves, there is no real perspective, just parallel projection. And no "real light"... They're all very small, about 5cm...

Those perspective and parallel projection exercises are good. Where did you learn that method of construction from?

I guess those techniques are quite common at professional art schools. But there are some nice resourches, if you don't want to study fine arts for years (I didn't):

    GnomonWorkshop: everything from Scott Robertson
And SketchWiki wich is a good refresh and a bit more detailled.

More Exercises and so on. Curve Combination & Cutting.

I need to do perspective exercises too. The designs for the desks are really neat looking. I wonder what the whole class would look like.
