first painting from life..any tips to improve???
hey its looking pretty good. i would say watch that shadow under her eye. i dont know if its your intention, but it ages the woman a lot. i think i would soften it up some. also watch the angles of her eyebrows. they seem to be at different perspectives. you might also want to look at the shadows on her sternomastoid. really look to see how the traps flow over the shoulders and down into the clavicles. make sure your paint application conveys the turning of the form. i would really soften these shadows up and put in some more transition values. also dont forget about temperature changes within the face and body. floating in some different warms and cools will really bring it to life.
thanks for this tips...i tried to increase all this details from when you post this reply..i learned a lot thanks to you
