Thanks, Charles - these were really, really fun to look at. How long would you say it took you per panel?

kinjura- thanks man.... id say each panel takes about 2hrs to make ....not including the research time it took to find all the photo components on the net.

thats actually the most time consuming part about that particular technique. ive been compiling a nice visual library on my hardrive over the past year or so that ive been experimenting with it.

now searches arnt that bad and i can use it more readily in a production workflow.

oalexis - yeah thats it the whole concept was centered around the sands and how it would destroy one city on one side of the planet - go through the earth and its layers of history and past civilizations and then rebuild an ancient one on the flipside.

the initial concept had many many more boards wich made it flow more sequentially-

Storyboards Layed Out In Comic Format

I did these initially for a storyboard presentation and the director requested i lay them out in a comic layout for variation.

    - photoshop- digital drawings/ paint/ and photo textures

You have a great understanding of contrast. The black and white storyboards are an art of knowing composition. Be clear of pacing in your storytelling.

Wow, these are fantastic. Wonderful, wonderful job. You express emotion very well with body language alone. I'd love to see more!

    War machine 2039

Just got the green light to release some really really awesome work i did a few years ago..... its a sci fi project- its graphic novel quality type off work... black and white - texture heavy and drawn to look like it was done in charcoal.........will upload sample soon.....

FYI THE BOARDS I DID FOR RIDDICK 3 were in this same vein but without out all the texture application...just for the sheer number of boards that were required......

UNDER THE TERMS OF THE RELEASE OF THE IMAGES IVE HAD TO RENAME THE PROJECT TITLE-

    ITS CALLED

    WAR MACHINE 2039
