Need advice on how to Patent Concept ideas?

I have a fresh new concept, it falls under the category of Industrial Design as it is an invention that is not out yet.

I really want to know how to go about showing my concept sketches to investers or anyone that can turn my idea into a realization and make a nice profit from it!

I guess this question is more of a legal or technical question but I really don't know who to ask or how to go about it?

If anyone could please help I would greatly appreciate it!

    Thank You

Since you are in the United States I can give you a tidbit if DIY information through a PM. All right, since your private messages are blocked, go the the library and look for a book called "Patent It Yourself" and I think the author is Pressman. I could tell you everything straight out but I do this for a living and (1) can't make a living doing it for free; and (2) have liability exposure

There Ok I've switched on my PM, but I understand you can't make a living doing it for free so I want to leave it at that and say thank you for what you have given me already. Just out of curiosity how much is your rates for this sort of thing providing if the project was worth while and profittable?
I might want your legal help?

    Thanks arttorney.

This much information the government offers for free:
    http://www.uspto.gov

=>select patents at the left columnar menu
=>In there you will see buttons for "forms" for "fees" and for "guides and manuals"
=>In the guides and manuals place you will find the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure (MPEP) which is the bible for United States Patent procedures.

I know it is over 3000 pages long, but that is the reason patent attorneys cost the big big bucks. "Patent it Yourself" has forms as well, including a patent version of an NDA agreement. It will also make sense of the MPEP for you. I have now told you where to look without actually giving any legal advice. Best of luck.
