The other guy was a concept for a plant zombie jam on devart. It's an old piece, but I'm thinking of working into this character alot more in the coming weeks.

Hey man, cool SB!Dig the zbrush stuff! The only advice I would give you would be perhaps to use a bigger brush!?
Your stuff is looking very nice
Unique and new
I like all them life drawings very good
Your digitals are also improving
Keep at it bro!
My57 Cheers man
D@niel Thanks Dan much appreciated
lilnebo Thanks
Here's a few more ideas for Polyphemus. Apparently the idea for the cyclops could've come from elephant skulls found by Ancient Greeks. Who'da thunk it?
Just a small update this time. I've been having loads of problems with this head I'm sculpting, and I can't for the life of me figure out what needs changing. Any drawovers would be muchly appreciated.
Cheers guys

Flaskpost Thanks man, I'm really enjoying doing 3d stuff at the moment
carlosranna Cheer Carlos. I might make Hob in 3d, it's sort of a toss up between him, the Green Man, and Polyphemus. I think I prefer Hob at the moment, but I'm waiting for to hear what my tutors think about em.
Here's a little more work on my character, and some scribbles

Hey cool sb, it's really nice to see you use such a range of diffrent tecniques to express your art. Keep up the good work!
Meilin Cheers man, it keeps things interesting
Well my tutors liked the cyclops most, so here he be.
He's gonna have the original corinthian helmet design with the one eye (at top of page), and hoplite shields strapped to his shins.
I also need to devise a way of covering his loins, with some kinda cloth.
Crit away, I don't know if he needs a smaller head or not, it might help make him look bigger, I dunno.![]()
really enjoy your 3d models mate, especially the definition of the muscles.
As for those charachters in my sb, they are for the weekly challenges at the CHOW area. It is in the section of the forum labeled community activities. Cheers man.
Goog Cheers Goog, I'll have to check out those weekly challenges when I get the chance.
Here's a little more work on the cyclops. Just tightening up some of the muscle forms, and sorting out his head. Please tell me what you think of the new head shape and tusks.

some more things I done
I love hob D: I wanna see more of him. You have a very creative style, and your 3d models are looking fantastic! Keep it up!![]()
Your 3d models are pro work.
Now about your pencils i may suggest more confident and clear lines
Keep up mate!!!
CheckBiomechawolf
Great work on this cyclops I really like how that is looking. I think it is a brilliant idea with the tusks, never thought of that before.

kingkostas Cheers for popping back and giving me encouragement, you're like a lovely old yoyo.
I'll definetly try and tighten up my pencil stuff, I've always been a bit rough with my pencil work
copperfire Thanks copperfire, I like Hob too
It's a real shame I couldn't have modelled him up instead of my cyclops redesign, but I guess it's good practice to listen to what your tutors tell you
Mischieviouslittleelf Yeah I don't think I've ever seen cyclops done like this, I always loved the Harry Ray Hausen cyclops with their single horns, and goat legs, but I find cyclops tend to look pretty generic usually.
It's cool doing different things with characters that seem to have their designs so set in stone.
Very cools tuff. Love your style!
Hey jacky!
As usual, your 3d models are just excellent! the muscles are so well defined.
the cyclops really unique in design ,never seen these b4, and thats what makes it amazing.
keep it coming!
