Working on a gladiator, inspired after watching...nonetheless Gladiator

You've got some nice stuff. I really liked the gladiator. His pose seems a little stiff though. It looks to me like he's walking towards someone ready to attack with his sword. If this is the case the pose could be a little more dynamic, especially the feet. I did a quick gesture sketch over your painting to show what I mean. Hope it helps.
I like the colors at the top of the page. You use some kind of metallic colors, and I like that-- I don't see that much in concept art, so maybe you could play it up even more.
So what do they have you doing at the job?
Your colour, volume and lightning sense is good, what you need to do is get out of the "beginners" mistakes out of your system, like fantasyartist made paintover, get in your fiqures volume, gesture and perspective. Good place to start is to do posemaniacs.com training, 30s gestures. When you got 30-45 second done cleanly, you are ready to go for deeper anatomy training and life drawing.
Keep posting, i will look forward more digitals the were that juicy...
