    Painting is easy :)

A while ago I decided I want to learn 3d. In the process I understood the concept is quite vital, even if you don't know how to draw. During my timid attempts I was surprised to see it's not so difficult. And after discovering this great community and thanks to some very useful threads, I took the next step - painting. And I fell in love with it.
I read hundreds of posts, dozens tutorials and tried a few methods:

Great work so far man. Love how you are simplifying the values and brush strokes. Lets see some pencil work.

@seth1: thanks a lot bro, very encouraging words. yes, I'm trying to keep my brush economy at a maximum and not jump into details (which is very tempting for the most of us especially in the beginning) I'll try some pencil work sometimes in the near future.. you my friend are very good at it.

I would like to know at how much opacity do you use your brushes??
and also.... try to keep things less blurry, I should be telling myself this too...hehehe

anyways nice tonal studies....most of the tones are right one..but do try a simpler value heirarchy..

@bhanu: thanks for stopping by, mate, appreciated. also for advices.
the opacity is set to pressure. I made a custom brush from the default oil bristle. yes, true, but I guess the blur will go away by itself once I go into details. for now, I'm trying to keep the brush economy as I noticed a lot of ppl struggle with that.

You seem to be picking it up quite fast, all I can say (which has been said) is add a few sharper, harder edges.

Otherwise, look forward to seeing more.

So... you just started painting? Pretty damn impressive man... great enthusiasm. Remember all colors are relative to what they're next to... so all things will seem funny when against white backgrounds.

@Quigleyer: wow thanks buddy. much appreciated. you're right, but for now I want to concentrate more on silhouette, anatomy and brush economy. I noticed it's faster if you do first things first. looks like Painter's the weapon of choice for you also. keep it up man! and come back any time

Since you are concentrating in anatomy, i must say i feel some things kindda odd on the last one, man. They are the curvature of the spine, that don´t seen to connect very well (might be the clothes, tough....) And the left arm that seens a little too much twisted...

But colors and values are great as hell!

hey guys, sorry I've been busy yesterday. but I'll make it up today and I'll have a nice surprise for you later

@carlosranna: I got tired at the end and that left hand it's kinda messing the silhouette especially as the position of the body is very tense. but overall I'm happy with it. thanks for the feedback bro.

@pathos: thanks kiddo. looking forward to seeing your next work.
