Last Man Standing 3 - FINAL ROUND

This is it, ladies and gentlemen. For those of you who have followed along and participated throughout the last 4 rounds, here is the payoff. Only 6 of conceptart.org's finest remain out of the starting 360 contenders. It goes without saying that this is a massive achievement, and a congratulations is in order for each and every one of them.

Topic: The Bitter End

The topic, as always, is completely open to interpretation, allowing for you to visualize your concept through any subject matter you deem fit. This is an illustration-based contest, and you will be expected to turn in a completed piece that stands on its own without the aid of a description. Both traditional and digital mediums can be used, but the majority of your piece must be painted/drawn with little use of photography and 3D modeling.

• Round 1 - 360 competitors in 72 matches of 5 / 72 advance

• Round 2 - 72 competitors in 18 matches of 4 / 18 advance

• Round 3 - 18 competitors in 6 matches of 3 / 6 advance
• Final Round - 6 men enter, one man leaves...

Judging: Every round will be judged by an incredibly talented group of judges... the list is still being finalized, but it will be a relatively static panel throughout the competition. Each piece will be judged based on technical execution, creativity in the interpretation of the topic, and overall impact. All judges decisions are final. No whining!

Absolutely brilliant to see the outcome of this mammoth art contest, and it totally doesn't disappoint. They're all brill, hard to pick a fav, glad I'm not judging it. Hurri's entry really hits the spot instantly, and I love that Bluefooted continued the theme from her previous entry.. Beautiful atmosphere in thoms... kudos to him for using such sunny colours.. makes the impact of whats happening more extreme. Baron's has the unmistakable texture to his again.. and a slight overtone of humour that I love. Cicinimo's was the one I stared at longest. I love it when artists can capture such a deep emotion on a human face... a big challenge to take on a topic like that solely through the human emotion, but it works so well. And spraynation's is all kinds of epic... love the mood.

Fabulous work from all contenders, i really don't envy the judges. At all.

Amazing entries!! I love all of the concepts but the only one that is really polished IMO is bluefooted's piece. The rest just need some more fit and finish. Excellent work on all of these.
