    Lady Dolls

Lay Ing is a character from my french comics named LE MIROIR DES ALICES (published by SOLEIL PRODUCTIONS - www.soleilprod.com).
The main character is an elf girl who live in a virtual world. In fact, in the future, some sick peoples come to this virtual place to realise their own dreams, beyond the limit of their conscience and their vision of good and evil.
This is not like Matrix, it's not a "good against evil" world. This is an invitation to do some personnal introspection... Because in the most beautifull place, beyond your own dreams and nightmare, realities (regrets, fear, joy, hope, love, hate, despair, and so on...) are always the most powerfull to invite you to make a better life, isn't it ?

It's an old picture, but well, I like it ^^

    Sorry, this comics doesn't exist in english ^___^;

    Merci ^^

Il s'agit aussi d'un ex-libris disponible à la librairie BD Flash en France. Si cela vous dit ^^. Par contre, le rendu imprimé est un poil trop foncé, mais bon...

I would love to see this image with abit more contrast - it seems abit dull at the moment.
Plus, if you made the 2 back 'dolls' a slightly cooler tone (or the fronts warmer) it would add alot more depth to the image.

About the contrast, the final result on paper was VERY dark ! With too much contrast (damn CMYK colors mode ! But in France, we work only with this mode, RVB is "prohibited" in print industry). Some brown shadows were print in a very dark brown, until some black tones ! So, I asked to a friend to print another set of this image and the contrast was good at least...
Conclusion : I have to pay much attention between the screen (about the balance of black in my colors) and the final result, but I have to pay attention to the printer too. And from several printers, I have several results from the same original picture.
    So it's complicated

By the way, about the dolls, that's a good idea. Thanks for the advice.

Oh, one last thing, SEVAN was one of my first nickname ^0^ !

The nickname thing is weird too.

    il me semble bon.
For all that I am, And for all that I have done.
To hold on tight, Is all that I've known.
To let it go, Is to tear it from my flesh.
But to hold on, May mean my death.
So I look to the stars, And All that I could be.
And I will fly away, Bloody, Torn, And Free.
