Nice stuff. I think the armor would require more texture tho, like the scar, scratches, damage and stuff. The detail you did on the face is especially good with that Warhammer feel.

Nice. The pose is a little confusing, though. That right leg...it's out straight? Pointing at us? Wouldn't that tend to push the ammo belt toward us more? Maybe do yourself a little sketch of how that pose would look, looking straight down from above.
I was once on the receiving end of a critique so savagely nasty, I marched straight out of class to the office and changed my major (sketchbook).

I consider myself a huge WH 40K fan, and I know I can help. First, I would like to say that Im glad your doing a warhammer 40k guy, second, with a little more depth and time, I could see this guys pic in the codex. Its got some great things going for it. To make it better, I would fix the X, make the ammo belt more defined with harder edges, add a background, even a minor one, and tweek the back pack exhaust port. The head is captured almost perfectly. Keep working, it will look fantastic!

Looking great, man! Other then what the others had to say, I think that the chestskull with the wings looks a bit flat. It should be a bit more 3D-ish if you get what I'm trying to say. Oh and slap on some purity seals, they always makes them cooler!

    Keep it up!

I'd say the feet do look a tad outsized even allowing for the style and tradition! And echo the rest for battle damage, scratches and moulded chest eagle. Also the left arm is angled more toward us than the right so should be a little more foreshortened I think.

Right now I'm confused about his footing, is he flying with jetpack or standing on very sloppy surface?
