My my! The environments in this sb are just GOLDEN man! I really really like the mood on them and I disagree on the lacking storytelling thing. It might be me, but they tell me a lot!
Nice colours and contrasts and, the sketches are pretty tight too!

I would only suggest some statue studies cause, even if the whole thing rocks, the statues and rocks aren't that much believable to me.

On the character desings ( which are cool btw) I'd change a bit the proportions, alotught I don't know if they were intentional, they seem too elongated to me.

Anyhow man, keep up the AMAZING work! Cheers!

Nice! That last one is sweet. I liked the grey scale, but it looks so much better in color.
I should do more environment studies.

The render of the stones eagles is awesome in the last one. Great, you're always better!

Suira thank you very much for your comments!! I'm still struggling with character design so proportions and anatomy can be off sometimes. About the statues and the rocks I should have used some references. That image was intended as a speedpaint but I always end up refining everything so some reference could be useful. The problem is that I'm too lazy...
    Christoffer thank you!!
anjin thank you man!! When will you update your sb???

I like Salaryman's graphic style and fancy way of coloring images and I wanted to give it a try. I think it's really helpful for concentrating on mood and composition rather than on details and realism.

Some work I did for the Pray for Dark project... ( I highly suggest to check and support Pray for Dark on Kickstarter !!). These are all to various degrees paintovers on 3d models so I had little choices about poses and composition...

Let's try the new attachment manager...

Edit: looks like the image manager automatically scaled it down... I opened it in another window and it shows at full res.

Some great work in here. I enjoy the sketches the most actually. The latest image though has some pretty sweet perspective.

Environments seems definitely to be your strongest field. Characters needs more work but it's going in the right direction. Can't come up with much advice from my part at the moment to make this post useful. I'll follow this thread for sure and see if I can come up with something.

Cool character. The sign bugs me though. It looks like it's attached close to the arms which would hinder movement. I'd get rid of it for practical reasons but you could make it more like a samurai banner with just one pole.
The new version is a lot better by the way. Good that you gave his calves more protection.

Hey Revenebo, brilliant work you have here. I love the line quality in post 377, and the captain morgan character is so well thought out and executed! I also saw that you are coming to the London symposium, I look forward to meeting you there!
