Beautiful! I really feel like I'm in that alley waiting for someone to come out of that door or for something drastic to happen.. on the other end, could be a feeling of total isolation or fear, nonconformist/ostracized from society, etc.. powerful narrative/storytelling behind a simple environment is what makes it super successful! Love the color scheme you chose as well, really ties it all together! waiting for more updates![]()
Odayga thank you very much for your comment, Miss!! I appreciate it, since I feel my works usually lack emotions and storytelling.
Just an exercise, a copy from a movie stillshot, but I'm particularly happy with it because I correctly eyeballed nearly every color...
To the hell details and perspective, I want to nail mood and colors...

Jephyr X thank you!!!
more sketches! (sorry for the crappy quality, ink shows through the paper and I must tweak the contrast of the scanned images sometimes...)

takashmen thank you! I'm not discouraged, I was just commenting the crappy quality of my work.I love watercolors actuallly and I'll keep on using them even if they're not much forgiving as a medium. Thank you for the links!!!

I don't know what this is but I can't give up working on it...

Very cool sketches, man. Very dynamic. Keep it up! That watercolor looks good to me. Maybe it just needs some darker values to make it pop more.
ismo thank you!! yes, dark values are missing, I simply can't do them with watercolors...

Haha I'm loving your most recent concepts!! keep on going dude!
Odayga thank you!!
I decided to make an illustration out of my Charon sketch. I tried different color palettes and lighting and I chose a strong reddish front light and a blue backlight (he's leaving our world and going towards Hell). Now it looks like he's romantically watching the sunset...
I'm having fun rendering it though...

It's kickass how you've rendered the crane in #278 with only two values. A very inspirational thread![]()
Great skintones, dude. Love the skulls.
Edit: Mecohones! 3 EOW, man, amazing!
Sorry for my bad english...

I really like the boat silhouettes you did. Are those done in dip pen ink?
When there's a little more time, I'd like to go back and look at your whole thread. You're on the verge of greatness.

+dave thank you!! it's more kickass that I managed to render the crane while it was rotating...![]()

ICH thank you man! hope to see you at the next Sketchcrawl/Sketchmeet!!!
(not three EoW stars, just two, and one was a tie...![]()
)
p sage thank you man!! I used this pen, sorry I can't find it anywhere else on internet...
Ariel9 grazie fenomena!!!!
Quindi io ho perso in partenza...
Having fun with custom brushes and trying to loosen my approach to digital painting with some abstract images
(well... this one went a bit too far and isn't so abstract anymore...)

Buon lavoro cmq

Just finished an illustration for a RPG. I'm pretty happy with the lighting, not so much with the color scheme (it will be printed b&w luckily...).
Now I must go back to my Charon piece and paint it this way...

... and here's another one, a savage giant.

Your SB almost gave my eyes a permanent damage in a good way!! Anyway rlly mind blowing and captivating stuff you got here. I will be watching and getting some inspiration from your pagesthanks for sharing your stuff with others! ^^
FANTASTICA testa piovrosa. Adoro, davvero, *clap clap infinito*
hey man, thumbs up for great rendering
nice values on that last one!
wooah your rendering skills are awesome, I think the anatomy is a bit off in some of the last ones but it could just be me...keep up the work
Ztak, Ariel9, invertedmirror, kidult thank you people!!
andres333 I'm afraid that giant illustration is a great example of polished turd. I had the same feeling that the anatomy was off, but after working on it many hours I couldn't spot the issues, and I went on mindlessly rendering it in details... It's time for more anatomy exercises and for looser painting.
