A couple of assignments I did for school, an acylic painting retouched digitally (though it's still full of issues, mainly anatomy, proportions and shadows) and a colored sketch...
![]()
Hey! your Sk is awesome, so rich in imagination and style! your environment are so solid and vivid, I love them!
Cheers![]()
great combination of environments, characters and assets in your sketches. serves as a good window into these worlds your creating. The first two pages are especially effective - great structure to the lay out- very professional.
great sketchbook! enviroments are really fantastic, I like the composition and colors in it! keep it on!
leonardob, dog-faced, dleoblack thank you guys!! I'm struggling to cover as many aspects of artistic formation as possibile but I wish I had more time to make exercise... Right now I'm concentrating on characters and traditional techniques (pencil and acrylics mainly).
Here are a couple of works I did some months ago, a concept for an aircraft and a paintover on a 3d model...
![]()
that aircraft and paintover totally rocked my socks off! great design!
wo updates! pretty tight tech stuff, I like the red riding hood, it reminds me of the gmork scene from the never ending story
Mi piaceeee! Bellissima roba nuova! Soprattutto il tuo post 175! Bravo che segui il consiglio di Ryan eh eh (dovrei mettermi a farlo anch io!!) Continua così!

Your sketchbook is stuffed with great artworks, I'll take the time to browse it carefully! Keep it up![]()
Man, great great work! The enviros are super! Please remind me how is called the movie on the previous page with the boy and the alien robot. I know they are not the same as the movie. You got p.m. Are you a Broken Sword fan by any chance? More!
My Sketchbook ---> http://conceptart.org/forums/showthr...42#post3225942
@ knut- Thank you! I don't think the boy and the robot are taken from a movie, but it could be, no clue... I was given the white clay model and I painted over it.
@ andrea.bianco thank you!! (o meglio... grazie!)
@ Tizzy Uelàààà!! Grazie! In bocca al lupo per l'esame (io ce l'ho domani...)
@ Sean McClain Aaaah!! They copied it from my image!I saw that movie more than 20 years ago... I should watch it again, but I fear it would look ridiculous now...
@ Yor Thank you! I wish I could paint characters with the same confidence...
Small update. School assignment, illustration for Grimm Brothers' tale "Gambling Hansel".
Critics and comments are warmly welcome (in general, not only for this image of course...)

...and another school assignment: the PostAtomic PostMan.

Haha enviros top as always!and the character style is getting awesome!(If ur name is Giacomo we ve got the same name!hah never met another giacomo xD)
bah your stuff is really cool! loved that turn around of the boy!
anjin, Cameli, HolyMane thank you guys!
@ Cameli Yes, my name is Giacomo. It's difficult to find other Giacomos outside Italy...
@ anjin evolution... I like this word.
I reworked an image I posted in the previous page, adding some of the sketches and studies I did for the developement of the scene. It's not really a finished piece, more something I did for school to show the process...
![]()
BAH now you made me want to draw city scapes and stuff !
nice stuff
woah man..beautiful work..definitely keep it up!!!!![]()
@ HolyMane Go draw some cityscape! That's a good thing IMO...
@ Odayga Thank you!
This should have been my entry for ChoW 203 "Rosie, top student in Necromancy" but I missed the deadline by a couple of days...
I pay too much attention to colors and brush strokes, I feel there are some issues, in particular with composition and anatomy, but I can't really get them into focus right now.
Critics and comments welcome!

like this one too. I just got back from Rome tonight actually. Miss it soo much and loved it. it was super hot though. went to the uffizi, sistene chapel, pitti, and vatican.. super overwhelmed with the great masters
![]()
Odayga thanks! I think you've seen more of Rome than I've ever seen...
An update for Rosie the Necromancer. I posted the image in the Critique Center and the feedback I received was very useful, I realized the image was (and probably still is) full of issues...

I'm taking advantage of vacations to make as much exercise as possible. I'm drawing with pencil from observation mainly.

Awesome sketchbook. Your line art is great and your skill with 3d modeling is stunning. That is definitely something i need to work on! Looking forward to more, and good luck on EOW 148!
Hazart, teapo, Soultek thank you!!
teapo yes, I use mmaphotography.com for anatomy and pose studies. I think it's much more realistic and dynamic than posemaniac.

Awesome sketchbook, dude! I love the dogfight scene, but I wonder if the dotted lines of bullets are really necessary. I think just the occasional streak of light might be enough.
PeregrinTerk thank you!! The dotted lines should represent tracers but they're not so convincing maybe...
Here's a thing I've been working on for a while... It was just a doodle I decided to color but then I was carried away with the rendering part (as usual)...
It's still in progress so any comment about it would be welcome and useful!!
