Aaaaaand I'm back from another holiday. Once again I didn't really do much drawings, but Barcelone was so inspiring. I can't wait to finish up all this anatomy studying and starting to do actual finished drawings again.
Anywhoo, today's batch:

Not much practice today, since I didnt have that much time today. But I'm actually quite happy with the girl drawing. The drawing doesnt really look like much, but I learned that just sketching in the head read quick will give me a whole better view on the proportions of the torso and from there the legs. So I think proportionally this drawing is stronger than some of the older ones.

Another rough day with less time for drawing. And my output is so slow as it is ... sigh

Wow your lines are awesome, it seems that you're short on time but I'd love to see so much more from you.![]()

@Psychobuddy: Yeah, it's been hectic after coming back from vacation. Our house and yard were a total warzone. I also had to spend some time on making technical drawings of a terrace that we are about to build, I still need to make technical drawings for a gaming table for the game studio that is being set up in the college I work at. Then I also need to make the table... AAaaaaah... don't make me think of it all.
But, I'm currently also working on a comission, which I'll post once it's done. So there's something for you to keep an eye out for.![]()
Argh, I got so frustrated with my lack in painting in colours that I just ended up finishing it quickly. Here it is and let me never look at it again.

huge improvement from page 1!practice drawing the values of simple forms such as spheres and cubes, with cast shadows interacting with other objects and things like that. learning to visualize simple objects in 3d and understand how light interacts with form will help so much with understanding more complex things like anatomy and achieving a realistic look (your last couple posts look much improved in this area!). good luck m8, keep drawing and posting!
Haha, I'm always surprised to see a comment here. Thanks for taking the time.
And yes, shading is definetly the point I'm trying to focus on at the moment. Lighting and trying to get it all right.
It's very frustrating however.
