Malugra's Quest for Improvement

Hello! I attempted a daily sketchbook a while back and failed miserably to maintain it, so now I'm trying again. I won't try to do this one daily, but as often as I can, I think!

At any rate, background info: I'm a 24 year old aspiring artist. I graduated with a BFA in December 2011. I feel like I'm pretty far behind other artists and that I have a very long way to go before I can even approach a professional career, but I'd like to at least try.

I'll start off with some eye studies I did recently:

More eyes, these ones were done in Paint Tool Sai while the ones I posted before were done with pen and paper.

More eyes. I've been on an eye drawing kick recently. Honestly not the best idea. What I should really be doing is full figures. I'll try to do that more in the future.

Good start, I can't really crit too much until you post more. But yeah good luck, the eyes are nice, maybe slow down a little and do cleaner lines...but that preference I guess. Anyway, good luck!
