Could someone recommend a good human anatomy book?

I've been trying to find a good book for drawing human anatomy. I look on Amazon and though they have reviews I can't see inside the book.

So, can someone recommend a good book for learning how to draw people? (the more advanced, the better, I have been drawing people for a while but really want to concentrate on getting better)

Search the forum for "anatomy" or something similar. This is answered all the time. Heres a thread i responded to a week or so ago.

Do you mean one that focuses on the anatomical bones and muscles, or one that focuses on drawing the anatomy in general?

For the anatomical bones and muscles:
    Joseph Sheppard's Anatomy for Artists

    For general Anatomy/Figure drawing:

George Bridgman's Complete Guide to Life Drawing
Anthony Ryder's Complete Guide to Figure Drawing
    Vilppu drawing manual
Mattesi's Force: Dynamic Life Drawing for Animators

    Really can't beat this book.

Well, you can, but not for the price.

Reverse POV: If you have issues copying, instead of understanding try getting a book that shows human form in photography, rather than an artist's interruptation of it.
