I just started school at the Art Center, majoring in Animation, I'm still not sure if thats what I am going to do, I just know I like to make characters.

None of these are too recent, I don't have a scanner so I upload images when I can. Critiques are very welcome!

Also you may notice the reoccuring monkey character. I'm not sure why I like him so much, and I don't have any story or background for him, but I hope someday he will be used in some kind of video game or movie or something.

Haha, you know what makes that even funnier is that I read that about 10 times and I was like "What the Hell are you talking about?!" haha.

Thanks, yeah they are ape/monkey things. They are supposed to be like those Japanese Macaques that live near the hot springs.

Hey Ty I'm new here,

I like this stuff, you have a nice clean style I especially like the chicken lolz, you vegetarian?? Is most of this stuff just the craziness from your mind? Only thing I would say is that Jesus' finger doesn't seem to be pointing at me, that's only useful if it's meant to be though lol

Haha, no I'm not a vegetarian, I just thought it was funny. I actually re-did that one, I'll try to post soon. The finger on Buddy Christ is a little weird but its kind of pointing to the side I guess, like in the direction he's looking. By the way, I am also new here I just found this website last weekend haha.

Yeah I just started my basic art classes, I am only taking 2 right now but at the end of the month I'm gettin serious, I'll be taking like 5 classes I think.
It took me a minute to figure out what you meant by ciphering haha, but thank you very much, I am always looking for inspiration from things that don't even look like letters to draw.

You've got so much motion in your sketches, I could have easily guessed you study animation before I read that you did. ;D

I've been trying to draw more people in motion because I used to just draw people standing look right at you, and it gets old and boring. The only problem I think I have with that is that All the characters are looking to the left for some reason haha

I drew a better picture of the chicken but I haven't had a chance to scan it. I will take a picture for now and then replace it when I get a better pic uploaded.

Hmmm, I see you hav a firm grasp of anatomy and values. Very cool concepts and ur ancient chinese monkey looking guy is pretty cool. I also like the other cool look'n pieces. I'd like to see some digital work, or at least more color. Good work, keep posting (comment my page if u ever find time)
