It's great to see a sketch book getting off to such a good start Love the first piece - it's so full of emotions and energy. The clown face is nice and surreal, and I really like what you did on the eye and lips. I definitely prefer your realistic style. The other style looks nice too but it's a distinct style that's been done before.

    Keep posting!

Hey Thanks! The first piece was a random doodle in PS and it progressed to what you see...it is one of those things where I went with the flow not really thinking too much. I guess my mind set in creating the other style piece was to try and see the two extreme ranges of styles with the fairy characters...anyway thanks again for being the first to comment!!!!

Welcome! Man those digital paintings are nice (especially the clown one) you definitely have a wide variety of styles too. It all looks good but if you want more than just "wow these are awsome" you're going to have to post a whole lot more!

oh and btw you don't have to do a new post every time to thank somebody. you can either do it all at once when you do another update (with images of course) or you can use the thank you button located in the lower right corner of the persons post u want to thank. or you could do both! k once again welcome to CA!

Those figure studies are really nice. Reminds me of Egon Schiele, who happens to be possibly my favorite traditional artist.

I noticed smudge tool use being a bit obvious occasionally. If you use it with a textured brush and throw some scattering and shape dynamics on there, it becomes much more subtle and personalized.

    Keep up the good work!

This is a great start for a sketchbook. Nice to see you playing with different brushes and styles. I like the clown and flower fairy ones a lot. With the flower fairy, I will suggest adding some hard edges to bring some more elements into focus instead of having an overall blurry pic. Look forward for more!

Fun stuff in here! Even though you show different styles, each piece manages to maintain an imprint of your personal look. I'm particularly fond of the clown in your first post; I think that it has a lot of energy and personality. I can't wait to see it finished!
