Unicorn hunter.

Hey guys. Any crits are welcome, from design ideas, colour and value decisions, brush control, perspective corrections, composition suggestions. I have posted now because its about 2/3 finished.

The idea is a Unicorn hunter. He is in his 'hunting lodge' cave eating his latest trophy. This is a species and not a character. So if there are any pro concept artists out there, could you please point out if I have 'illustrated' this design wrong for a 'species' design?

Well your title and your character are not in line. How is this a unicorn hunter? I see a stick in it's mouth (maybe, could be anything, that doesn't look like a face). Is this it's den? A lot is unclear. You have some interesting ideas, but you're not implementing them too cohesively. I'd rather he was gnawing on a whole head with a horn, and not just the horn. Also his face needs definition, as well as the background needing more to emphasize he does this for a living. More unicorn bones and so on. The lighting is 'ok' but at this stage it is hard to talk about too much.
