i thought it might make a neat composition if there was another guy on the other side, see what you think. just my 2c, its all looking real good so far!

Velocity Kendall: I don't think the extra guy quite works for the concept of the dual monarchs but I really like the the way he works for the image composition and the visual storytelling, thanks for the idea!

it being my birthday again, I figured Ii'd redo an old piece just as kind of a benchmark to gauge how much I've improved over the last several years. I'm crazy busy at the moment with freelance work so I couldn't really devote much time to this little project and it didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, but still a pretty hilarious improvement, maybe I'll try it again in another leap-year.

A question about your pencil lineworks. They seem to be very clean and accurate to me. Are you drawing them atop of more messy sketch, or it's just your regular style?

Spellsword95 : Thanks for your question. I typically do a rough initial sketch to establish basic forms and generate ideas. I then drop that sketch back to 20 or 30% opacity and do a "clean" sketch overtop. If you look closely you can still see some of the rough sketch marks in the images I posted.
