Here's a cool(big) little plant life for a planet colonization project I"m developing with a guy.

fleshing out some more stuff. We don't really know what we'll use and what we won't so it's painting trial and error time. Really fun, and a good way to hopefully come up with some more thought-out porfolio work.

I didn't think Iwould like working like this, but I was totally wrong. The variations make this really exciting and commitment free.

I'm glad we kept it really loose and open in the beginning. First real vehicle design is turning out to be a blast, can't wait to go further and figure out the other angles.

Here's the smack middle of it. The other guy is gonna do a rough model, we're gonna see where it goes. Right now he's missing a lot of information concerning the bottom half, as the top "sail" seems to cover it from the top view, but we're kind of collaborating with this. The forms are also a little rough, I'm interested to see where they'll go in the 3D model.

Please note, it's meant for moving pretty straight- one speed only. No hard turns, the roads are pretty much planned out and you just sit and ride.

I've been a little inactive posting in here, but I'm trying to learn some 3D.

It's really bad, but I'm learning the program right now, too .

Here's something I did, still don't have a grasp of 3dsmax that well . I guess I can only go up from here .

I like those vehicles silhouettes. I have only problem with design in post #337. Construction seems to be not the same when comparing both perspective. I know that it’s really early stage and it’s pretty rough and that’s probably the reason or maybe this is only my impression. Anyway, great updates

I really like your vehicle designs. i would try to use more soft brushes and vary your edge types. This will promote more spatial depth!

Thanks guys, the rough vehicle was modeled by a buddy of mine. The idea was that this is the "rough version" and then I'll paint over some renders and we'll see where it goes.

Ah finally I can see your attachments . Very nice characters you have here. I don't like the helmet in your newest update. It looks a bit silly, but this is only my personal preference . And yeah this 12 hour clock is also give me a reason to be confused. I think that 12 A.M. 10th means, that you have to submit it on 9th till 11:59 P.M. agh I dunno xD

wow, i love this landscape picture with the flowing rock... the contrast of sharp/blurry elements makes a good focus and makes it more 3dimensional... i love it!!

I like this sketchy feel on your newest painting. I have nothing much to say from the technical side. But when I look more on this picture I get this feel that your character is a little stiff like it wasn't he's natural pose. Great armour design btw. you did a great work. I'm looking forward to see more stuff Cheers!

Ramalooke- yeah man there are a lot of problems with that painting. It was a deadline race, I'm sorry it didn't go better.
