Here's an environment I started today, it's a work in progress. And... in the interest of working on my faces I've started a portrait of someone recognizable. But who is it?

I think I've got to finish all my WIPs before I start any more...

Well I need to update with SOMETHING.

Been working on this one a little longer than usual in the hopes of achieving a little better than usual results.

Goodness this one took a while. Wasn't that great at the end either . Kind of boring, but at least I finished it! I've still kind of got my fingers crossed at maybe winning something.

Here are some sketches. And a Brad Pitt portrait that I'm not sure whether or not it actually looks like him. I might be the world's worst portrait artist, but I'm working on that .

REALLY having a hard go with these Zeppelins. Foolishly didn't save most of the terrible attempts, but whatever.

Hogarth... he has some interesting studies. I understand what he's trying to say with his information on hands, but I don't know how long I'm going to be studying hands from him.

And every time I read "spatulate wedge" to define the shape the palm makes I laugh a little inside.

I also did a cyclops quickie today, but for whatever reason it's saved only as an unreadable file? Oh well, twenty minutes for the experience.

This hand doesn't look right to me. I think Hogarth exaggerates a bit much, maybe that's what it is.

And some space marine ideation. Gonna just go bulky with one. I think crossing huge guns, like you see done a lot in movies with Uzis, would be the best thing EVER.

I love looking through your sketchbook. You have some really, really nice work in here. For the hand, I think it's the fact that the thumb doesn't really bend back that far very easily, so it looks odd because it's something out of the normal? Everything looks fine on it though; I love how weathered the fingers look.

Boom SHaka Laka. Missed posting anything yesterday, but I was working at both jobs and got... well no time.

But, I've done two sketches before work today. I'm not going to use that space marine, and I think I'm gonna do a different pose, but there's definitely plans for a huge space marine painting.

And because I couldn't really figure out his foot... I felt I needed more knowledge. Hogarth, again.
