25 and 40 min oil study from life
Wow! What a source of inspiration! Fantastic stuff in here
I find myself beguiled by the brush strokes in your oils time and time again - absolutely gorgeous!
Please, do keep up the good work!I'll drop by again.
Those quick oil studies are brilliant! You accomplish a lot in such a short span of time. Love the watercolor of the boy and wolf on the last page, too, very neat![]()
An illustration I did based on the idea of Seppuku. Looking for feedback!

Wow, I love the colours and lighting on the seppuku piece!
Since you want feedback on it....I only see few little things. First, the guys in the background look out of perspective and a bit awkward. Secondly the woman is also oddly sized, and seems just a bit too small, even if she were much shorter than the men. Lastly, her hand is too large for the rest of her proportions.
Anyhow, very solid piece overall, you have some serious painting skills.

Quick painter workerout. Experimented with a little digital watercolor, can barely see it now after I went opaque on top, but it was fun.

Some character designs for my visual dev. class. Based on Chronicles of Druss by David Gemmell.
More quick oil studies~ 25mins -1hr
Some character vis. dev. and 1-2 hr oil studies
these are beautiful, man! you work really hard, that's why you progress. so keep it up.
you're probably done with the seppuku piece, but just wanted to comment that, usually wouldn't there be a "helper", that would cut off the person's head after they stabbed themselves?
anyway, g'luck; keep up the good work.

dude awesome pencils...and i can see oil helps you to improve your painting sense of digis
hey man, thanks for dropping by my sb!You have awesome works in here, i like the pencil chars alot and the last illustration is looking good as well. Just some crits on the last piece, the legs seems to have some anatomical issues. Also maybe work on your scale a bit more, the City Wall looks realy huge to me, but the trees nearby seem to be almost the same hight, so they would also be realy huge. Hope thats makes any sense, but maybe its on purpose anyways.
Keep up the good work.
cleaned up
aweesome works, and some great characters! interesting transition from pencil to digi. Maybe you could try to add a bit more detail in foregrounds, to make figures pop out more.
keep working like that!
arrrrr
I love the flight illustration and your quick oils are awesome. Such deliberate brush stroke that describe the form so well, its awesome.
