Mister Dark: I'm glad you found me too! I love your illustrative style!!
Lotet: thank you! i just knew i had to paint her when we first met =D
surus: thanks, this is my biggest drawing yet!
Texahol: You should definitely try it. Painting from life in general is a must if you ask me. There is just so much to learn in terms of what happens with color in nature. Studying from photos I feel only takes you so far. Most of the ones I posted are studies and they're 12x16 to 16x20.

Great brushwork as always, and the colors here pop out of my monitor Really dig the saturated red you used, really brings the image to life. Nicely done!

i love your sketches. Just curious, how do you begin your sketches? like, is it just gesture drawings then add detail? do you have a process (step by step) of your drawings?

    lolbbq: Thanks!
    aLDoDarK: Thanks for stopping by~
kyubisharingan: I usually use a little light tone to block in the figure to capture the gesture. Since I'm drawing in such a linear fashion in such a short amount of time, its easy to lose track of the figure under the clothes, so this is important. After that, I just go straight into the line drawing keeping in my wrap arounds, perspective, folds, shape design, value designs.

Beautiful work man. Really inspiring collection. I'm amazed at how well you capture the figure in just 5 or 10 short minutes O_o

Very nice stuff! Makes me wish I could do some figure painting!
I really like your sequential work; I know some of your stuff might be relatively quick but try to nail a focal point with some nice rendering and fade off a bit from there, when you can of course.

SixPrism: Thanks! I still need a lot of practice because these short poses often still feel like a hit or miss for me.

    marc_redd: wow, thanks!

The Pariano: thanks for the feedback!

dleoblack:Thank you dleoblack! I was pretty happy with it when I finished, but now that I look at it again, I'm not that thrilled any more =(.

meticulous:These are from my clothed figure drawing class, so they're 5-20 mins. I did however, attend a quick studies workshop today! So the ones at the bottom are 2-3 mins drawings.
