    i liked the last enviroment.!
Kinda inspiring if you ask me

i would love to see though more objects there , i mean few birds, fog, more plants.. you know, and you have the skill to do it

    hi

    as always
fucking good work on the enviro,
the warrior and two asian figures are also good
post 385: when doing the figures, you could try changing your mind: rendering in different state of mind than the enviro , it could take more time but give it a try !
don't forget the blending whe doing the figure.

    see you

I'm liking the speedpaint but I think I like step 3 and 4 more than the last one. Something the perspective of the boat is odd too. I think it's important to think about the perspective even when you're dealing with organic stuff like trees, mountains, etc. Maybe it would help just to set-up a simple perspective guide.

Also in general, when you're doing speedpaints try to say more with less by focusing on the big shapes and simplifying. Some of your pieces feel cluttered by the small brushstrokes that I feel are unnecessary. Try to portray things with the right amount of brushstrokes, value, color, etc and just leave it like that.

    Keep it up!

schweet, those tds of yours are really impressive. I said it when you finished and I'll say again now, I have no idea how you do so much so well in such a short amount of time?! My new theory is a small collective of far eastern sweatshop workers trained in photoshop working simultaneously on your behalf.

    Peace

hm, dont use dark blacks? How dark is too dark though? i studied some stuff from marko djurjevic that was in grayscale and it went from like 7 to 98 i guess its all just what the surrounding environment is like. I agree with the using dark brown with shadows on people but they too look like a near black when they are really dark.. Oh well i'll figure it out eventually, i would rather have somewhat not believable paintings then flat paintings

Nice sketchbook, you have a nice use of colors and your nebru looks so girly haha i dont think thats what the guy wanted

    so much updates, good thing

yes you did well with this last one,
you could add some windy ices in the far or smooth some part of the grass because it seems all hard edges and it can't point to the focus area.

    how about some posemaniac ?

looks great! i think tho the blacks on the char are bit much compared to the darks in the rest of the pic. it makes him look a bit cut out.
