Great updates, man! I love the robot and the amazon character( nice composition on that one)! Just one crit on the eyes of the robot. Raise his right eye ( our left) to align it in proper perspective.
On the amazon character....Does she have tattoos on her torso or is that supposed to be shadow? I'm talking about the two big lines are that are wrapping around her torso. Also is the tree supposed to be closer to us? It's hard to tell. I think I would just simplify that into a silhouette to make it clearer. Or perhaps make some of it overlap her.

I really like the new barbarian girl wip, nice and dynamic composition. The perspective is a little strange tho, I feel like i'm panning or something since the water is seen much more from above than the upper torso of the girl. or mebbe I just missed something.
great progress, man, you are inspiring
keep it up and thanks for commenting on my SB![]()
FUTILE EFFORTS <-help me I suck.
Thanks all for your constant support! what could i do without you!! Ill get back to more specific answering after one well slept night.. Btw, i stumbled upon mindcandyman's SB, and spent hours of spooling through its pages of awesomeness, you should definitely check it out! makes you want to improve and draw constantly!
Heres a progress of one late night speedpaints, hope you like it![]()
brewin
Now that you say it, it really screams for more "randomness" in its look, just looks too uniform : l thanks mate, appreciated!
Harkins
Haha, i didint think it turned out that well, as its one of my first watercolor works ever! thanks!
Dizon
ThanksIm not satisfied with the whole composition, shouldve made it more dynamic, maybe i will make a remake one day, who knows
zou
Yeah, the head is definitely too big, thanks for the crit!
BlackDelphin
Oooh thanks, im flattered! You know what, i just promised meself to post more often, and whats the most important, draw more often! hell yea!
Lotta
Thanks for the critique! I had a reference foto for the pose, where a woman was standing like that in a river, though im not sure if i skewed the perspective up a little, gonna check that out next! thanks!
--------------------------
two updates on previous ones, im not sure though, if i should leave the robot piece as simple as possible, without too complex surroundings..
Oh man this constant updating makes me all warm inside
suggestions:
try to get the light from the fire to reflect on the bot in a few highlights to describe the form and make it all fit better together
also check the perspective of the gun and if its meant to be smoldering try to ref some hot steel.
Looking awesome
Love the huntress one
I think the robot one could use a bit more scorch and cinderlooks great by the way

Good job! I wanna see some textures on the amazon piece. The one with the robot feels like something is still lacking. I feel like expanding the composition.
brewin
Roger that, ill update asap! thanks!
Quike Garcia
Thanks for the tip!
Dizon
Some textures on the way! thanks for crits dizon, appreciated!

This one is for a school project, where we have to combine sound and image. I still need a sound clip of an old, drunken man laughing hysteriously
Mate your works are becoming better and better.I really like the paintings of 365# especially the female. The rendering is becoming great. In this last one, this multicolor gives the feeling of a glass & wet surface.Do color variations but not as extreme as they appear on metal surfaces
Keep up the good work![]()

Thanks for the reminder, one can never be too good at anatomy and structure, appreciated!
Unfortunately i have nothing to post except an update for the amazon piece, im on a weekend off from my art school, and forgot my tablet pen there :l Well i guess its back to the ol' pen & paper!
that's the spirit noodle!!!and i am going to try my best to do that too! yey!
love the new updates, and their qualityespecially that amazon piece~ her pose looks much better now, and the tattoo is pretty cool too
can't wait to see you update-detail the background too
Love the robot with the scorched earth policy and the glowing gun barrels Noodle. The Amazon piece is great too, severed head and blood on the right and beautiful lotus flowers on the left!
the Amazon WIP looks a lot better, somehow, now you mirrored it oO Composition is weird sometimes! Good work, just keep it up![]()
So, i think im more than done with this one now, have to stop doing it any further before i get too bored... I dont know if the brownish hue gives it any honor though! And some sketches and portraits!
HAHA WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW YER KILL'N IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FREAK'N EPIC UPDATES SHAZAAAMMMMMMMMMM*the girl hold'n the head IS HOT!!! DOES SHE HAVE A SISTER?
Good job on all of them! Perhaps overlay a texture over the whole amazon piece? If you're going to do that it's best to make it subtle. I'm still bothered by her tattoos though. They actually look more transparent than opaque so in some instances they come across as having the qualities of shadow areas. Like her tattoos that go around her stomach, for example. It bothers me that you can actually see the blood over the tattoos so I get confused if it's shadow or a tattoo that I'm looking at.
Have a look at refs to see how opaque they are.
Later!
I can't suppress these feelings any longer.. I think I'm in love with your SB![]()

(Water ripples don't radiate unless something is falling perfectly straight into the water. So if she's walking through the water, they will sort of "follow" her direction in a curved way
Also what Dizon said about the tats)
Keep rockin dude!
Very cool sketchbook, keep it up!
all the best,

Thank you all for your feedback and comments, makes me feel warm for all the support from you guys, appreciated!!!
So, heres two quickiespeedies from last night i made. The one with soldiers and all, i think im gonna take it further, feels like it has the potential!!! They were both great practise on both values and color!
Oh, and i slept with the window open and now i think im having a fever : l
I had some great time with Mark Vatsel today, painting a few TD:s of our own. First one was 60 min, the last ones are one and a half hour paintings!
Was a pleasure mate
Keep rocking itttttttt
Thanks brewin, you rock!! Heres a progress of a late night speedpaint environment i made
Cool man.
See if you can make some of those brushes look a bit less digital, esp in the first shot of the last painting.
Also pay more attention to flat forms, as you havent sold the feeling of form to me. For example why are the shading on the flat planks all streaky and round?
Keep it up!
Wow, these last paintings look really good! Great mood!
Thanks Noodle!
And good luck to you too with your studies! I see you have done some more figures and the envo with the bout has a really nice mood to it! I can feel a story in it!![]()
