    The Black Coat

The first is a pin up I did for the comic The Black Coat. I had some fun with it. The second is a comic I'm currently working on. The last is an illustration I did in responce to the fact that the estate of john lennon recently lost a lawsuit to stop the use of "imagine" in a pro intelligent design film. Let me know what you think. Thanks for your time.

Beautiful colours and good decisions on their saturations. Only thing that caught my attention was the bottom of the cat piece... is it meant to be cropped like that? Doesn't look balanced with how thick the space at the top is then no space at the bottom at all.. Keep it up is right, post some more!

    Abronxl - thanks

IanE - Thanks, the cat piece was intentionally cropped that way, in order for that tangent to push that panel + the other green panel visually away from the background.

    Thanks for the comments

I like the Lennon piece a lot. The color is a big seller and I think the way you used yellow gives the painting a very serene feeling. The line work is also really nice.

tmdurn7 - thanks, yellow is a color that i often use as a compliment, but not usually as the main color of a piece. So for that piece I decided to change it up.
