Awesome stuff again!!! Like especially the last environment. I'm modding PC-Games (custom 3D-Models and stuff) as a hobby and you gave me some really nice ideas with this one. I might make one of those rock-needles 3D and add a living section for the player, where the cave is. Only if you don't mind though!!!

The last character looks interesting too, I might be wrong, but the head seems slightly too big in comparison with the body.

Excellent update ratio and improvement level. Can you pls tell me, what is the resolution you choose when you are starting a new painting, I mean for example is it below 1000x1000 pixels or much more than that?

I amdoing some matte painting challenge. I don't know how many of you are familliar with this technique but i wanted to share process.

This is first sketch i have started with. Quick paintover done in 20 min. Theme is 2012



this is second one. I wanted to be more as a set extension scene(like i get this one from actual movie scene). I started it with 4:3 aspect ratio, because i am planing to do a camera projection with some friends of mine. Later whole scene will be in 2,35 :1 aspect ratio.

and once i have found atmosphere i wanted i have started with set extension


this will be aspect ratio i am going for


Once i am done with set extension i will start with "city destruction". I had idea to show "after " scene. Maybe a huge wave, tsunami, crashed into city and some large tankers, ships created some mess.
