Your stuff is really sharp, lots of detail and the the coloured one looks really clean I like the woman with the gas mask on. Just curious, how did you colour the space marine one?

One thing though, the faces in the drawings all seem covered up with something, no offense if that's the way you envisioned it to be but when you got some time free, try making the face or load up here a drawing of a face you made

I'm 15 btw, but you're better than me, especially with colours XD.

    Lurking since 2008.

Thanks for the Comments. I usualy do cover up the face, I have alot fo trouble with them. This drawing is from the Cover of "Guild Wars" (a PC game) I was doing ok with the face but then I dont know what happened I just screwed up the nose and jaw. (I colored the soldier with Photoshop useing a layer for each color and then a layer for shadows, set the shadow layer to multiply and it will change color as you go over each different underlying color. It was the first digital painting ive done.)

You should definitely try different thicknesses of pen or a brushpen for your inking, that will make them come alive more. Keep it up!

Well I was gone all weekend went fishing, But I did manage to finish this painting. I painted the background then decided I needed something for the foreground so I found the angel on google images and re-drew it and added the cliff she's on. I had a blast with this painting though.

yo black water, nice character sketchiz,
for your composition, i would advise you to start using a brush with 100% opacity first, so you can achieve hard edges instead of this blurry effect if you have only two color like here, lighten and shaded,
your sketchiz will appear more dynamic, you can also try to put a "smart harpen" on your color layer in photoshop filter > sharpen > smart sharpen
keep on posting your character research,
    cheers

I gave up on the blurry desert and added this instead. The tower and helicopter are brushes, so i guess I cheated (thanks for the tip Bouroune)

Wow man you are very talented, Your infantery is very cool, but maybe you can draw the infantery in epic scenes, Figting with a giga tank, run away from the artilley bombard, a soldier very hurt etc...

No offense but my first reaction to the lady in the mask was; 'she turned into a fly!' That bright red boogy goggle eyes are awful-looking, IMO. Either add texture to it or desaturate that red because right now, my eyes are having a hard time looking around the piece when there's 2 big and bright red circles in the way.

No offence taken xsdk01 this is why I started a sketchbook is for feedback and to learn from my mistakes.

I got to use my scanner for about three seconds today I got a chance to scan one drawing so here it is (my new brush pens) . I started roughing in color in photoshop.
