Lovely! Great story and intressting characters.

And the art is great aswell, but one question: are you planning to colour it?

As far as coloring, the artwork I haven't really thought about that. I do need to produce more works in color. Actually, look at all the masterful technicolor pieces here on CA is quite intimidating.

I can't say this enough but I am grateful for all those reading and commenting on my comic pages. I consider myself lucky.

The hit-each-other-with-bats game! Man, we played that when I was a kid.

    'Cept those were plastic.

Nice pages - love the composition of the first of the new.

Fourth of the new ones, I feel like the flow of panels 4-6 is a little rough because the body positions of the kid getting nailed don't seem to transition into each other with the impetus of the impacts.

    This. Is. REALLY. COOL!

Here's the first part of the third issue. I'm quite grateful for the comments I've been receiving on the comic. I'm rather surprised people are looking at my comic on this professional website.

    Thumbs up Outstanding

I read a lot of comics, mostly from DC and Marvel, and I wish some of their art would be as bold, expressive and inventive as yours. You design panels from unique angles; and I can almost see the characters moving on the page. I can follow the action without confusion. Is this your first comics work?

You also have a good grip on writing: it's funny, humane, unpredictable. You've made me feel for a nuclear warhead

Perhaps your art needs tighter inking, but that's all I think needs improving. Keep up the great work. I wish you success on getting published soon.

Here are some more pages of the third issue of "Opey the Warhead".

I deeply appreciate those who've commented on my work. The feedback is important because I'm not entirely certain whether my comic's rubbish or not. "Opey the Warhead" is a very personal work of mine but I've always felt I was a member of the minor league.

I hope you enjoy the following pages.

Just finished issue 3 on DA, that was quite heartfelt, whilst being distinctly twistedly funny in a dark way. You gotta love Opey's stupidity sometimes.

Anyway are these recent volumes your realeasing, feature 3 chapters? And after you've finished the whole series, are you going to combine it into one whole book?

This is seriously one of the best comics I've ever read. The humor, the story, the pacing, the artwork, the expression, the page layouts, everything is excellent. I would probably buy this if it was a graphic novel. I look forward to seeing more!

Thanks, Richard, and it's a pleasure to hear from you. The recent collection I printed up featured the first three issues, plus a bonus story found nowhere else but in the collection. If I ever do finish the series, combining them into one large book is a distinct possibility.

Wow! This story is great! It's a great blend of really funny and really sad. And you've managed to create a really interesting and fully realised world for you characters to live in.

How long does it take you finish a page? All that cross hatching looks like it would take forever!

Keep 'em coming. I can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve.

    No need to doubt yourself.
Even without coloring this is a great comic, and I've read my share.
I'm really enjoying the story, the artwork and the original angles/dynamics.. fun read. Keep it up! It just keeps getting better

Thanks! A page usually takes me about a week to draw, but I'm working on a lot of other things, so that slows down page production a bit. It would probably take less time if that was the only thing I worked.

More pages will be posted soon.
