Watch the feet on the chow! Even in your initial sketch the feet look a bit iffy.

Lovely pencils, especially the draperies are really good.

I think the ChoW could have benefitted from a more dynamic pose. That way the cool mutated hand could have also been better presented. I like the backlighting, but maybe that would work even better with a cool light source. I don't know, just a thought.

Partisan HHH...thank you and no problem, i really like your work

skMOP Thank you fixed it a lil bit.

ismo Thank you, i originally thought of making a more dynamic pose but actually a true chow is supposed to be all about the so called "design" of the character - back front side and etc. so tried to make a front view.
When i think of it maybe you're kinda right about the cool light, just too lazy to change it now, because i'm probably won't have the time to finish it anyways.

    Danny_K Thanks mate

I like the overall idea, but composition is a bit to static, also he's pose is to stiff. But I like the colors and set, can't wait to see the end result

Ramalooke Yeah i know about the crappy pose, just too late to change it now, tried to make something more dynamic during the first minutes of my livestream yesterday but it looked like crap so i got back to the old version.

    Ludic Thanks mate

Not much from today (gotta an excuse for that...i don't have anymore pages in my paper SB to draw on, gotta buy a new one tomorrow), meanwhile a lil update on the stiff CHOW wip..it looks like he's a #$#%ing mannequin or something (SOO STIFF) but it's too late to change something and a quicky that took about 40 min.

Doing the back lighting stuff is kinda fun,
but it makes the character flat. And if the
sun is down behind the horizon, he may have
that yellow backlight outline on his legs but
not behind his head. Like this you made the feeling,
that he has an artificial light, a lightbulb attached,
hanging from his back, making that strong glow around him.

I know what I dislike about this comic. On the first page in second panel when this Ogr dude is hiding in the bushes. First plan is not consistent. I mean that this hand is so detailed that it is popping out in front of the head cuz the head has no details. I hope you know what I mean. And the flying girl painting looks much better. Still there are some issues (I'm not really sure what's the problem) but composition works much better now. Keep posting mate, cheers

Ramalooke hhh...Thanks for noticing it..fixed it in the finished pic.

    LtPlissken hhhh...lol i don't think i could've posted it here....

Ok so i'm feeling really crappy today due to the fact that i soon won't have much time to draw freely, in few days time i'll have to get back to doing only something like a study/sketch a day .
Some real life stuff are really interfering with my "art studies"...oh well what's new.
The worst thing that with so much little time i would have to choose something to concentrate on, because i can't study comic book penciling, pencil art and painting at the same time.....and i really don't know what to do now.

Anyways...here are the pages of the comic, it was for a PJ Pummel fight but my opponent failed to deliver so i made all the work for nothing (though i learned a lot)

I like the rendering in your comic pages. Very clean job. And I know how you feel. I'm suffering for lack of time to draw almost instantly. Anyway I bet that you'll become kick ass artist, even doing a study a day (believe me or not but one, good study can be very valuable). Wish you luck, cheers!

damn alex... sorry to hear the issue with photobucket xD and also it's a shame your opponent failed to submit his piece. but anyways, i see you've been studying hard and it shows with that comic you drew. the digitals are looking great and you seem to be getting the hang of it quite easily

hmm.. i'd say just continue working on your weakest points with what little time you have coming up. at least the sketch a day should help keep your artistic flow constant

    keep drawing my friend!
