Hey Taiylz, thanx a lot, really, never heard of Space Pirates before? A small example: Disneys Treasure Planet, almost a space pirate story

Here a small update to the space pirate, the first sketch of the idea(the background and the other characters will be done by two friends of mine ) and another sketch done while being in bed with headchae and fever, will never do that again, really, in case you are ill, you should rest, and not draw.

    Cheers,
    Eric

Great stuff, such clean and expressive lines. I really enjoy looking at the enviros or even the hints of such in some of the character drawings, helps ground them and give just enough context. Keep it coming.

Everything is fine here on my end. I quit my job as a lead artist to work as a freelancer in comics and illustration fulltime.
Alpha Bettie is in the hands of the author who is looking for the right publisher right now.
I'm working on many other cool projects but I'm sure there will be some AB news soon.

    Best,

    Chris

Coming back with a WIP for an illustration, still not finished, hope to finish it at the weekend. You can see th single steps, from the scratch and playing around with the background. I extended the background before I combine and integrate the character in the background and coulors.

The second one WIP is a sketch to Black Adam, a Marvel Chara. Its a private commision, last time I draw a Superhero must been couple years ago. Gizaaaaaaaas, too many musclesssssss........

Geez man TONS of awesome work in here. Do you use a lot of refrence for your costume designs or just kinda pull it all from your massive imagination? Love the detail you put into that stuff.

    Great work man.

Hi guys, thanx a lot for your kind words.

"TheKastOne", yeahh, sometimes I got also the feeling that I need to draw more Unfortunatley the day has just 24 hours, damn

"Recluse", for sure, sometimes you need to use reference for costumes, especially when they are historical ones. I studied fashion and grafical design, so I already had a small library of costumes in head, and you simply combine a lot of ideas. But in case you need to work more realistical, then you need to have a closer look at reference material.
    Cheers, Eric

Hey guys, happy new year for 2008. Finally, slowly I got the chance to show some of the work from 2005, 2006 and 2007. Starting with some storyboards I did for Crysis, about one year ago. I put them on the sketchbook, cause they are done in a pretty sketchy style, so they fit much better here, then in the finally finished section of the forum.
    Cheers, Eric

Your Crysis storyboard looks really good.

I've played the game but I didn't like it very much because of the bad ending. As I bought the game I thought it is a complete game with an ending and not part 1 of a trilogy. I haven't heard this before just read about it in an interview which came out after the release of the game.
I was so curious to see the ending and now I feel 'left hanging'. It is somekind like going to an action movie and just when things are start rolling the curtain clothes and you have to figure out there will be another part of the movie without having heard of this before.

Bad gaming experience but great artwork

    Best,

    Chris

Hey Chris, how´going? I cant say too much about the game itself, personal I liked it but I also known from the beginning, that it is just the first part of a trilogy
    Here more of those storyboards,
    cheers,
    Eric
