    Thanx Squal,
    here we go again, as I promised, scince today I start with sketches everyday, I try at least Not magic pencills dude, I think the paper is full of magic. Can´t resist starring at it without drawing some lines

    Your concepts are more than effective and the work itself isn't just voluminous, but totally amazing. I'd like to see subtle coloring of a few of them, but other than that, there's nothing to ask for. I just hope you keep on drawing and sharing!

    It is over a year since I made my last post in this thread, I dont even know if it is allowed to revitalize this sketchbook, but I try. After seven months of working at a movie project, almost without free spare time, I would like to post here more often, so kill me if I shouldn´t.

    @Oddity, dont knoe exactly how much time I need, sometimes an hour, sometimes a couple hours, depend of the theme and the job, if there is a quick deadline or you can handle the concept over a couple days

    have to check some of your drawings ...now!

    wooo, great lines. You've got some really dynamic looking poses in here. I'd like to see you go a bit freer with your painting though. Try to do some without overlaying lines...the one of the helicopter was really nice.

    @Theo, treeeees?? well then, good luck let us see some tree sketches
    @Recursive, thanx, the render depends often of the job, but indeed I like it as easier as possible.
    @Hiipi, thanx, also for the stars.
    @Hi Mull, whatyamean with "freer with the painting"?Sorry, got it, yepp, thats the next step I try to go further, but it takes me a little bit time(and courage to post). This small storyboards you have seen(with the helicopter) are the direction I like to try more often, have to take the time to exercise more for that.Thanx
    @Yina, I just remark, that the ölast time I worked for an RPg with strong b/w lines is about 9 month ago, I really miss that style. Hope to come back soon.

    What I really like working as a conceptartist/illustrators is the varierty of styles you have to apply to some projects, today is it more SciFi, tomorrow more "reality", soon more cartoony an so on.... It is never borring. Thoug, I envy comicbookartists developing on single style to perfection, for example Creg Capullo, Travis Charest, Benoit Springer, Mathieu Lauffray. Just awesome dudes. Claire Wendling, also to mention one of the best ever strongest drawers on earth, a fantastic woman

    Return to sketches, on of them you see finished above:

    Hey there. You certainly did not get your stars for nothing. Great work here. I think I've seen your art somewhere before (on some site related to gnomon or something). Only crit here is that these posts are huge. Took a century to appear on my screen. Going to have to study your style quite carefully.

I hesitate to post some of the finished art in the Finished section, dont think its good enough for this fantastic forum, but one day....
    @Icey
    Good to see you man, hope you are still around here

    @Placebost, sorry for the big images, I will try to keep them in future smaller, I promise

    @Ive and digitalfrly, thanx you too

    Working in Munich again, I will try to keep posting more often, not a promise, its a challenge

    @mentler
    Wonderfull studies you have in your sketchbook, so many pages, I have to find the time to check them out.

    @ch!z
    Yeap, piratboyone is still one of my favorite charas for the spacepirates series. Unfortunately, the project was not comleted, but though it was hell of fun

    @Flaptraps/Demon, thanx guys Flaptraps why "whish I had one..."? Your sketches are great, just lurking around in your thread right now, in two hours after finishing the work, I will check the pages, now I am in hurry with some deadline on the desk.
    As promised, I will post much more often from now on....
    Cheers, Eric

    Thanx Goog, I´m glad you like it. I hate posting every single sketch I done, so normally I wait to have a couple to post. A lot of work in the last two weeks, but not soo much work of sketches, more digital stuff to do. Here some sketches of the last week,
    Cheers, Eric
