Realist Portrait (of Mark E Smith)

Hi first submission/thread, so I've decided to get some critiques on my latest portrait, where it works and where it...doesn't.

Nice details and shading! could use some more exposure? and maybe some sharpening on the eyes and mouth, and his shirt looks kinda flat?

Thanks very much for taking a look, and for the advice Parsakoira, much appreciated. Though I'd say this needs a tad more concentration on the skin, and I should have made the wrinkles more subtle, etc, along with giving the eyes a tad more detail for it to stand out, which I competely agree with you on. Though as for the shirt, it was completely jet black on the reference photo, with it just being an obscure shape, as if it was out in the distance. (whilst Mark's head knelt into view)
