bones weep tedium Brilliant observation! Yes, I was watching Once Upon a Time in America and I just paused the film and drew..
thinking " if I want to finish watching this movie, I better get this sketch
done"...its my way of trying to relax after work and still get some sketches done.

That's a favourite game of mine as well --- pausing my favourite DVDs and doing sketches. It's a great trick for drawing dynamic actions poses as well - life drawing can teach you a lot about anatomy and proportion, but without elaborate harnesses and winches there's not many life models who can do action poses for as long as a DVD can pause on Bruce Willis . . .

Out of curiousity, what do tyou do for work? Are you a professional artist, or do you have a day job?

    Great sketchbook, once again!

Verehin Thanks for dropping by again!
shiNIN nice to see you again man! I do have a weird jaw in real life.
meduza Thanks man! I personally think all pinoys should try to uphold that legacy, not just to honor the old pinoy masters, but for the next generation of kids back home, clutching their mongol pencils, scribbling away on their pad papers and dreaming of warriors and princesses in far away mystical lands. Our home country is slowly being sucked in a quagmire of corruption, poverty and crab mentality. We owe it to the next generation to give them a legacy they can claim when their time comes.
vlad22 GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! GWARRRRRRR!!!!( translation: Thanks for dropping by!)
Peetaer I don't really look like that...(I'm much more scary in person, that was my cute face..)
R&F Thanks! I am still learning myself!
Kilon Thanks dude! And I will try some enviros soon, thanks for the advice!
Porg Yeah, I suck terribly at colors...suckity suck suck!
escape2mars your name sounds tempting, i would love to escape to mars someday! Thanks for dropping by man!
Me Myself and Me againThanks! Will do!
pantless_wanderer "Grand Master Of Boobies!" I like that! and seriously,
I will be doing a series of cute chicks as "pantless wanderers" soon!
    Thanks for the inspiration!
Envisor Yup, I do need to study some more.
darkenuf Yeah, color terrifies me! I heard it bites your hand off sometimes...
dcrilerThanks for dropping by man! really appreciate it!
Reject-D You are right, I do need to try and draw other stuff too,
but after a hard day of exploitation at work, I just really seem to want to draw nekkid babes for some reason..Thanks!
thrillafrommanila thats a very good observation! It mystifies me as well.
( goes to a corner and cries like a scared baby)
Ceejay My man! Been a while! Yup, that baby is really trying to
    do some serious shit!
Niku Thanks for dropping by! keep on drawing and learning man!
CA is a really helpful place.
crazy3dMan Thanks for being a regular here! And will do with pushing those values...only problem is they push me back...harder...
lithiumdawn Thank you for dropping by!
thewhistler glad you liked that one!
    kidult why thank you sir!
thespianmonsalvoyou actually see some improvement here? Thanks!
spudstudios Yup! I live for the nice filthy shit!
kamal_anjeloThanks man! Pink Girl seems to be popular!
BonesweepTedium Thanks! I didn't do it consciously though. I just like
going back and redrawing stuff I've done and as a result people see them more. It's also a way for me to check if I have improved any between each
time period that I did them. btw, I design toys for the mass markets by day, producer of nice filthy shit by night!

Wow! sorry it took a while to reply guys and girls...toy show is next month and I am being ass raped more violently now...which leaves me drained after work to draw anything else..but the fire burns within me..I actually skipped work today and just practiced anatomy all day.
It's funny, I draw for a living, but drawing something that you like to do is so much more fulfilling!
    It's just so refreshing!
btw, I will be dropping by all your SB"s, might take me a while to do so, but I gotta list so expect me to pop in there in the future.

anyway, here are some more sketches and practices:

Nice! You're still going strong. Good anatomy study.

I'm going to try that pause the movie and sketch bit. That sounds like fun and good practice.
Please stop by my new Anatomy Sketchbook and critique the hell out of it.

kellyX Thanks! I designed her outfit myself..wanted to draw a woman with some clothes for a change!
thesadpencil Thank you, I'll try to post more ( which means I have to practice more..)
crazy3Dman Glad to see you again! Yep, that "movie pause thing" is kinda cool.
Peetaer Its fun to do that movie/sketch practice...if you dont mind turning a one and a half hour movie into a three hour sketch session!

Ok, some simple sketches for today:

Had to work 12 hours today, doing 12 colored designs based from my own ideas...talk about exploitation!
And they want me to do this daily until the damn toy show is done!

I was so pissed ..but strangely all I could think about was a skeleton clown singing a strangely familiar song....

    quick sketch around 30 minutes...

wow, I like the last 2 updates much... especially the muscles are very attractive and the clown head is really nice... I love skulls
and I laughed at your spiky nutted monsta

I feel ashamed as always when I hear from peoples who draw after their LONG working hours. I'm working only 8 hours, walking 2 hours, have no child or anything... and yet, I'm tired and draw so little I do it wrong I know.
but CA will help, I'm sure!

Hey man! I just went through your entire sketchbook with a smile on my face! Such awesome work. The thing about your paintings is that your values seem off. They get muddy and then dont define the form well enough. Your lines are awesome! Im jealous of you, as I really wish I could draw like you. But yeah, I say, do a bunch of grayscale studies. Im sure it will help a lot. This is the advice JessiBean gave me, and its been working wonders. If your picture looks right in B&W, it will look right once you slap color on.

Anyways, thanks for dropping by my SB earlier. I'll be sure to drop in here again soon

Your anatomy's really coming along, I'm studying the neck and trunk at the moment too. Bit of a nightmare but it'll all be worth it in the end.

Liking the clown skull too. Something appealling about skulls, dunno what it is though.....

    Thumbs up

I really like the detail of your observational sketches =) some of them really capture a sense of attitude and personality. But some of the erotica infused with some of your drawings kind of makes me a little scared to keep scrolling while I'm in the labs because people might think i'm looking at soft porn hahaha.
