    Nice studies!

The zombie pics would look even better if you gave them a stronger directional light source. The lighting looks pretty straight on right now. A strong light source could give them some more mood.

Holy poopsicles on a stick! Why do the Phillipines get all the damn good artists?

I gotta say your SB is very inspirational, and sure as hell gives me some goals to shoot for myself. Your knowledge of anatomy is amazing. Are you mainly self-taught, or what? What was it that was most useful in learning? And shoot, while this stuff rocks, I would also love to see some of your realism/life drawing if you have any readily on hand!

KellyX Yeah, that spider was kinda rushed..Thanks for dropping by!
Drunken Hand Wow! Thanks for the compliment! The old Filipino Illustration Masters would be smiling ear to ear now! As for my crappy self,
I still have a looong way to go to be called a "decent" artist wannabe.
I did take up Finearts, but unfortunately I went to a crappy school that was more Art Theory and "Ethnic Art" and did not provide any decent art basics..
so I consider myself self taught. Art is a lifelong learning experience anyway.

Bakatron why thank you for the kind words!

Peetaer nice to see you here again man! Keep rocking your SB!

Jeff Lafferty Thanks for dropping by! I really do hope to see more of your work. The one I saw " Waiting" really made me drool!

lilnebo Haha! glad the updates were safe for you to look at!
And your improvement in your SB is inspiring!

OK, I really have to step it up...I have decided what I want to do, I wanna change careers and do Pin ups and erotic art for a living! ( God help me)
So I will be focusing on taking my pin up art to a professional level.
Who knows when I'll be able to do that, but I am gonna begin my journey.

But for now..some sketches and color practice..

Crits are always welcome...any professional pin up and erotic art people out here who wanna give advice, I beg you to do so..

Hey man. It's always good to have a goal.

You've probably seen his work before, but if you are planning on doing pin-ups, you've got to study Mr. Aly Fell - AKA poshspice.

    His website -
    http://www.alyfell.com/

    And his CA sketchbook -
    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=75177

Good luck on your journey. Looking forward to more.

    Hey angry

Some quite nice stuff here man but there are always things that should be, or could be improved. First your lighting id to indirect and generic, and so there is very little aggression here, also you could serve yourself well by knocking in some secondairy colours and backlighting, thus making the feeling of a room more complete.

Apart from this you just need to work at it and keep improving

Hey man. Don't get discouraged. Look at Poshspice's stuff and get inspired.

One thing I noticed looking back at your color images of girls is that I think you need to push the value range of the skin. Just because you are doing a picture of a girl with very fair skin doesn't mean that all the values have to be light. Getting some value range in there will help define the form.

Take a look at this example. Even though he's painted someone with very light skin, the values of the skin span a pretty wide range from light to dark.

    Nice monster!

Heya, your pencil sketches look really mastered up, nevertheless CGs still need more practice. (10 or more minutess passed, and I still can't find out what exactly I don't like on them.. There's something... something... sorry, no idea.)

DAMMIT! That was first page! Try to use larger amount of colours on single surface to make your paintings more lively and don't be afraid of higher contrasts, darker shadows.

I love your zombies. I can definatley see you improving with each update. You do excellent work with forshortening and crosshatching, not to mention your poses seem very natural as well as being aesthetically pleasing. If I may offer a bit of critique, In the bottom left picture of your last update, the girl's breasts are to close together. It's like they're being supported by an invisible bra. It seems to me that some softer shading on the right (our left) breast would help remedy this. I haven't seen this problem in any of your other pictures, though.

Overall, I'm a fan of your work. As has been mentioned before, you've done some really interesting studies, and I love that I can see you improving. Keep up the good work!
