localfatheaded thank you for your kind words and tips

Here's some scribbling from the train. I started to use this system to try & copy a a face from a picture, I feel it really helped.
And for some reason or other, I'm loving my 6B pencil lately :p

    Roses are black

    ... and red sometimes
Though the red ones tend to suck ass.

the colored one is really looking good… more dark values though…like in the sketches! clearer shapes could be the trick!
    keep it coming

bigfooTrooper => yeah I know, I messed that one up, don't really know what happened there <_<

So I was in the mood today, lol, here's a big dump with some of my best work yet.

You should probably look at them from bottom to top, cause that's the way I made them.

However, the pencil one looks best in real life :p

    Here's some roughs
Made with markers and a black and a white pencil

    Too bad about that drill...
I should really look into my cilinders :/

woaaahh your improvement is going PRETTY BLOODY WELL!

I really love your loose sketchy style, use of ink (especially in those chairs and roses up there) and markers. keeeeep at it! it's looking lovely so far

Haha, very much agreed with the above post.

Really cool fullbodies, your style carries over very nicely over a lot of mediums.

Those charis leaning against the walls are awesome. I used to hate those asignments too but it looks like you nailed it.

Sometimes, with your life drawing you get these real loose, fluid lines going and I think that's when you are at your best. It feels more relaxed and confident.

Keep it up you are showing real progress.

super skoda I still don't really like those chairs though :p
and you're right, I'm still growing in the use of fluid lines though, but I feel I'm improving, which is nice :p

Shalite Thank you, that means a lot

    THanks Dekal, means a lot

    from memory

These are some studies after a tiny maria statue...

This one's made with markers. I took an extra photo of the other side of my page, where everything just bled through, I think I like that version better

    bleh bleh & bleh

    1 bleh is blind contours.
1 bleh is blue ink, corrected by pencil, but the correction's still shabby too.

So can whoever took my forth star explain why he did so?

I'd love some constructive criticism people.
Giving me stars doesn't help me at all.

anywho, here's some posemaniacs studies, 30-60 seconds

    Keep up the good work

I relllysee improvement looking through this book! Keep doing figure studies, go through reems of paper on them draw light and focus on construction proportion placement forshortening before you worry about shading and rendering...dont press so hard let the pencil glide on the paper. I know your gonna do great your a natural!

I found this one again today.
    Made me giggle.

It's inspired by the movie dragon wars.
I should really practice my digital painting, but atm I don't have the time for it.
