    DoubleThink's Sketchbook

    Hi,

I'm from Belgium & want to draw more, hence the sketchbook.
I started drawing seriously about a year and a half ago, when I signed up at college for my graphic design classes, sketching was one of them.

I'm 21 now and I would like to learn how to draw with the Wacom tablet, with which I had some fun this afternoon. Well... fun, it's a 20 euros tablet, so it's not worth much, but I try

    Here's some older stuff

Master study of a hawfinch, original was by Carl Brenders, who is argueably the best nature painter in the world... :p

Don't have a picture of the original, but I wasn't that far off... (80 hours approx)

Part of being a graphic designer is begin able to work with markers & reproduce fast images of how stuff's going to look like.
Here's my take on parts of a skatepark, promoting a new shoe by Globe.

I'll try & add some figure studies when my scanner's been fixed.

Oi, A majority of ur art is hard to read. Your colors seem to be really blurry and your not quite sure how to work with it. A good way to get learn photoshop is to look at the digital painting thread, http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=107217. Also your stuff tends to be flat, I suggest that you draw objects from life, that will give you a better understanding of form.

    Keep it up,

I've screwed up a lot this afternoon.
Though I've learned quite a bit, so it's not all bad.

I feel sorry for what I did to the girl.

Guess I need to work on my portraits?
